Warranty periods

Rockford Fosgate publishes warranty periods by product category. Common timeframes include:

  • Motorcycle products — 2 years
  • Marine products — 2 years
  • POWER amplifiers — 2 years
  • PUNCH amplifiers — 1 year
  • PRIME amplifiers — 1 year
  • Mobile speakers — 1 year
  • Signal processors and accessories — 1 year
  • Factory refurbished products — 90 days

Warranty coverage requires proof of purchase and applies to the original purchaser. If your product falls outside these categories, contact us with the model number and we'll confirm the applicable support path.

How to make a claim

Contact us before sending anything back.

Step 1 — Email support

Email support@motorcycleaudio.com.au with:

  • Your order number or proof of purchase
  • Product model and serial number
  • A clear description of the fault — what it does, when it happens
  • Photos or video of the issue and the installation

Step 2 — Assessment and next steps

If the product appears faulty, we'll advise the correct warranty pathway. This may include further troubleshooting, return instructions, or repair/replacement processing.

Extended amplifier warranty

Rockford Fosgate publishes an extended warranty program for certain amplifiers when used with matching installation kits. If your amplifier qualifies and you have the required documentation, let us know and we'll help you confirm the correct support path.

What's not covered

  • Damage from accident, abuse, theft, or water where the product is not rated
  • Incorrect installation, wiring faults, or voltage issues
  • Damage caused during installation or removal
  • Service or repair by unauthorised parties
  • Products with altered, defaced, or removed serial numbers
  • Costs related to removal, reinstallation, or vehicle-side issues

If no fault is found, or the issue falls outside warranty coverage, the item will be returned and inspection and freight costs may apply.

Your purchase is also protected by statutory guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded or limited. Nothing on this page affects those rights.
