Rockford Fosgate Warranty
This page explains how warranty support works for Rockford Fosgate products purchased from Motorcycle Audio Australia, plus your protections under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL. You may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund depending on the nature of the issue. Nothing on this page limits your ACL rights.

Rockford Fosgate publishes different warranty periods depending on the product category. Common timeframes include:

- PUNCH amplifiers – 1 year
- PRIME amplifiers – 1 year
- Mobile speakers – 1 year

Note: Warranty coverage can vary by product and region. If your item falls outside the categories above, contact us with the model number and we’ll confirm the applicable support path.
What warranty covers
Warranty generally covers defects in materials or workmanship under normal use when the product is installed and operated correctly. Rockford Fosgate also notes that warranty requires proof of purchase and applies to the original purchaser.
What warranty does not cover
- Damage caused by accident, abuse, theft, water (where not rated), or improper use
- Incorrect installation, wiring faults, voltage issues, or damage during install/removal
- Service or repair performed by unauthorised parties
- Products with the serial number defaced, altered, or removed
- Costs relating to removal/reinstallation or vehicle-side issues
These exclusions align with Rockford Fosgate’s published warranty guidance.
How to start a warranty claim
Contact us first before sending anything back. Most claims start with a remote assessment to avoid unnecessary freight and downtime.
Step 1 — Email support
Email support@motorcycleaudio.com.au with:
- Your order number (or proof of purchase)
- Product model and serial number (if available)
- A clear description of the fault (what happens, when it happens)
- Clear photos/video of the issue and installation (wiring, mounting, connectors)
Step 2 — Assessment & next steps
If the product appears faulty, we’ll advise the correct pathway for warranty service. Depending on the product and scenario, this may include:
- Further troubleshooting steps
- Authorised return instructions (including packaging requirements)
- Repair or replacement processing in line with manufacturer and ACL obligations
Extended amplifier warranty (where applicable)
Rockford Fosgate also publishes an extended warranty program for certain amplifiers when used with matching installation kits. If your amplifier qualifies and you have the required documentation, let us know and we’ll help you determine the correct support path.
