5.25" Speakers
5.25" speakers are the correct size for the Road Glide's shark-nose fairing inner position — the primary front speaker fitment on Road Glide and Road Glide Special models from 1998 through to the current 2024+ generation. The same 5.25" size also appears in some Tour-Pak applications and early batwing fairing positions. It's the second most common speaker size in the Harley Touring range after 6.5".
Speaker selection for the Road Glide 5.25" position needs to account for the fairing depth — the shark-nose fairing cavity is shallower than the batwing, which limits basket depth and may require a low-profile mounting solution. MAA lists confirmed basket depth and fitment notes for each 5.25" speaker in the range. Where an adaptor ring or spacer is needed, it's noted in the product listing.
Most 5.25" Harley-specific speakers are offered in both 2Ω and 4Ω versions. The Road Glide saddlebag lid position from 2014+ is 6×9" — not 5.25" — so the front fairing is typically the only 5.25" position in a Road Glide build. Ships Australia-wide and to New Zealand.
