Warranty
All products sold by Motorcycle Audio Australia are covered by the original manufacturer’s warranty, along with your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
This page explains how warranties work and how to get help if something goes wrong.
Your rights under Australian Consumer Law
Every product we sell comes with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian law. If a product has a major fault, you are entitled to a replacement or refund. If a fault is minor, you are entitled to a repair or replacement.
Manufacturer-backed warranties
All MAA products are covered by the manufacturer who built them — including brands like Soundstream, Cicada Audio, Hertz, and others.
Warranty periods and coverage vary by product and brand, but they generally cover defects in materials or workmanship during normal use.

What is not covered
Most manufacturer warranties do not cover damage caused by:
- Incorrect installation or wiring
- Water or moisture where the product is not rated waterproof
- Physical damage, accidents, or impact
- Modification or tampering
- Incorrect voltage or electrical faults on the motorcycle
How to make a warranty claim
If you believe your product has a warranty fault, email us at support@motorcycleaudio.com.au with:
- Your order number
- A description of the problem
- Photos or video of the issue
- Installation details (installer name or receipt if available)
We will assess the information and advise you on the next steps, which may include returning the product for inspection or testing.
What happens next
If the manufacturer confirms a warranty fault, they will repair or replace the product. This process may take several weeks depending on the brand and availability of parts.
If a product is tested and found not to be faulty, or the issue is excluded from warranty coverage, inspection and return shipping costs may apply.
