Lower Fairing Audio

Lower fairing speakers, speaker-ready lowers, pods and install hardware for Harley-Davidson® Touring models with fairing lowers, from Cicada Audio, Hertz and Velocity. A pair of 6.5 or 8 inch speakers in the lowers adds output and mid-bass near the rider, working with the inner fairing speakers rather than replacing them.

Most bikes have no factory lower speaker position, so you will need speaker-ready lowers or pods, ideally run from their own amplifier channels.

What do you need to add lower fairing speakers?

This collection carries 6.5 and 8 inch coaxial, horn-loaded and mid-bass drivers for the lower position from Cicada Audio, Hertz and Velocity, along with the speaker-ready lowers, pods and output splitters that make the install work. Confirm your bike can take a lower speaker position and match the driver size to the hardware, then run the lowers from their own amplifier channels for the cleanest result.

FAQ

Does every Harley have lower fairing speakers?

No. It is an optional position that needs speaker-equipped fairing lowers or conversion hardware to create the mounting. Confirm your bike can take it before choosing a driver.

What size fits the lower fairing?

6.5 and 8 inch drivers are the common sizes, depending on your lowers or pods. Match the driver size to the hardware, and check the fitment on each product.

What do lower speakers add over fairing speakers?

They add output and mid-bass down low, filling out the sound around the rider. They complement the inner-fairing front stage rather than replacing it.

Should I use a mid-bass driver in the lowers?

A dedicated mid-bass driver gives more impact and control in the low band than a coaxial does on its own, run from a filtered amp channel. It suits a build focused on low-end presence.
