The Hertz SX 200 NEO is a high-efficiency 8 inch coaxial speaker built for riders who want more cone area, presence and midbass than a 6.5 inch can deliver. A neodymium motor keeps it light, while the large cone and integrated tweeter give strong midbass and clear highs. 130W RMS, 100dB sensitivity, 82.8mm mounting depth. Sold individually. This is a custom-fit driver, not a drop-in.

What This Is Best For
- Midbass a 6.5 inch cannot make. The larger 8 inch cone moves more air, so you get stronger, deeper midbass without a subwoofer.
- High output per watt. 100dB sensitivity turns moderate amplifier power into serious volume, so it hits hard on a sensible amp such as a SounDigital EVO PS 800.4.
- Light enough for the fairing. The neodymium motor keeps weight down, which matters when you run multiple drivers in a fairing or on brackets.

The SX 200 NEO needs 82.8mm of mounting depth and a custom pod, adapter or enclosure. It is not a drop-in replacement for a 6.5 inch. For 2014 to 2023 saddlebag lids, the IP-6X9-8 adapter set converts a 6x9 mount to 8 inch. Plan 100 to 130W RMS and an 80 to 100Hz high-pass filter. Inside the SX 200 NEO
The driver pairs a large 8 inch cone with a lightweight neodymium motor. Neodymium delivers strong motor force in a fraction of the weight of a ferrite magnet, which is what makes a high-output 8 inch practical to mount in a fairing. On the road: you get big midbass without hanging heavy magnets off the fairing structure.
The cone itself is nature-proof high stiffness pressed paper — treated to resist water and humidity and finished to be anti-UV. On the road: it holds its shape and its finish in an open pod, in the rain and in the sun.
The integrated tweeter makes it full-range, so one driver covers midbass to highs with no separate tweeter or crossover. On the road: a single 8 inch pod plays full-range and stays clear at speed thanks to the 100dB efficiency.
