5x7" Speakers

5×7" speakers appear in the fairing and saddlebag positions of pre-2014 Harley-Davidson batwing Touring bikes and some earlier Road Glide positions. The 5×7" format was the standard saddlebag size on batwing Touring bikes before the 2014 platform update, so if you're upgrading an older Street Glide, Electra Glide or Ultra, 5×7" is likely the correct size for your rear positions.

5×7" is closely related to the 6×8" format — the two are often interchangeable, and some manufacturers list products under both designations. If you're unsure whether your application calls for 5×7" or 6×8", confirm with your year and model before ordering. The actual oval opening dimensions and the speaker's mounting flange size determine compatibility, not just the nominal designation.
