Saddlebag Speakers
Saddlebag speakers complete your rear audio stage — extending coverage behind the fairing and filling the space around the rider and passenger. Most Harley Touring models take a 6×9″ driver in the saddlebag lid position, with options from direct-fit coaxials to high-output horn-loaded replacements. Aftermarket saddlebag lids with a speaker cutout are required — factory lids are solid. Pair with an amplifier for best results.
Pre-2014 Touring models use a 5×7″ saddlebag position. From 2014 onwards the standard size is 6×9″, which is what most upgrade drivers are built around. Some 2024+ models use a different lid geometry — check your year before ordering if you're unsure.
Impedance matters in saddlebag builds. If you're running a bridged amp channel into a pair of saddlebag speakers, 4Ω drivers are the safer choice — they present 8Ω bridged, which most amps handle cleanly. 2Ω drivers bridged can push an amp into stress.
