This Rockford Fosgate kit is a complete front and rear audio system for select 1998 – 2013 Harley-Davidson® Road Glide models. It includes the PMX-HD9813 digital media receiver, a TM400X4ad 400 watt 4-channel amplifier, a pair of TMS6RG 6.5 inch fairing speakers with a Road Glide grille, a pair of TMS69BL9813 6×9 inch bag lid speakers and the RFK-HD9813 amplifier wiring kit. It bolts to factory attachment points with no drilling or cutting.
Everything here is matched: receiver, amplifier, both speaker pairs and wiring are built to work together on the sharknose Road Glide. You install rather than research parts, and all four speakers are amplified from the first ride.
Who This Is For
You ride a 1998 – 2013 Road Glide (FLTR) or a 2012 Road Glide Custom (FLTRX), you have factory hard-shell saddlebags, and you want the full front and rear stage in one purchase rather than adding the rear pair later. If you would rather start at the fairing and build out afterwards, the two-speaker Road Glide kit is the smaller version of the same system. For the batwing fairing instead of the sharknose, the four-speaker Street Glide® kit is the matching part.
What This Is Best For
- A full four-speaker system in one purchase. Receiver, amplifier, fairing speakers, bag lid speakers and wiring are supplied together and matched, so there is no component research and no parts-matching risk.
- A bolt-in install with no cutting. The kit bolts to factory attachment points, and the RFK-HD9813 wiring kit uses direct connect harnesses made for Harley-Davidson models.
- Volume that survives the highway. Both speaker pairs are frequency-response tuned to overcome wind, exhaust and road noise up to 75 mph (120 km/h).
- Modern source and control. The PMX-HD9813 adds Bluetooth® wireless streaming, USB and AUX inputs, Pandora® and a digital AM/FM tuner, and radio integration supports front and rear fader control.
Check your radio and your bags before ordering
The PMX-HD9813 receiver is not compatible with factory amplified systems, CB, intercom, rear volume controls, rear speakers on 1998 – 2005 Ultra models, or factory equipped satellite radio systems. The TMS69BL9813 bag lid speakers are a retrofit kit for factory hard-shell bags and do not suit fibreglass bags. The receiver is SiriusXM® Ready, though SiriusXM is not available in Australia. What is in the kit
The PMX-HD9813 digital media receiver is the source, replacing the factory radio on 1998 – 2013 models and bringing Bluetooth streaming, USB, AUX, Pandora and a digital AM/FM tuner with it. The TM400X4ad amplifier is a Power Marine 400 watt Class-AD 4-channel amp, two channels to the fairing speakers and two to the saddlebag speakers. The TMS6RG speakers are 6.5 inch two-way Element Ready™ drivers with a phase-aligned 25 mm tweeter and a Road Glide grille. The TMS69BL9813 speakers are a 6×9 inch Element Ready retrofit kit for factory hard-shell bags in non-fibreglass models. The RFK-HD9813 amplifier wiring kit ties the system together with direct connect harnesses, an external heat-sink, mounting brackets and all the necessary hardware. On the road: every part is matched and all four speakers are amplified from the first ride, so the system plays clean and loud without setup guesswork.
