We know you’d rather be riding than waiting around for parcels. This page explains how shipping works at Motorcycle Audio Australia — from dispatch times to bulky freight — in clear, practical terms.

Australia shipping

Bulky items include large or heavy products such as subwoofer enclosures, loaded sub kits, and multi-box audio systems. The bulky surcharge is automatically waived on Australian orders over $2,500.

New Zealand shipping

Bulky items include large cartons such as subwoofer enclosures, loaded sub kits, and multi-box system bundles. If you’re unsure whether an item is classed as bulky freight, contact us before ordering and we’ll confirm.

Estimated NZ transit time: 3–7 business days to metro areas after dispatch. Regional and remote areas may take longer.

Import duties & GST: Any customs duties, GST, or import charges are set by New Zealand authorities and are the customer’s responsibility.

Dispatch information

All orders are packed and dispatched from our Brisbane warehouse, Monday to Friday (AEST).

  • Orders placed before 1:00 PM AEST usually ship the same business day when items are in stock.
  • Orders placed after 1:00 PM or during peak periods typically ship the next business day.
  • Orders paid via bank transfer ship once funds have cleared (normally 2–5 business days).

Delivery timeframes

  • In-stock items: Same or next business day dispatch
  • Out-of-stock items: Approximately 14 business days
  • Custom-built items: Approximately 14 business days
  • Pre-orders / special orders: Approximately 21 business days

Delivery times vary by location and courier. Metro deliveries are typically fast; regional and remote areas may take longer.

Tracking

Once your order leaves our warehouse, you’ll receive tracking details via email so you can follow it all the way to your door. If you don’t see it, check your spam folder or contact us.

Courier services & signatures

We use insured courier services such as StarTrack, TNT, FedEx, and DHL. A street address is required — we do not ship to PO Boxes or Parcel Lockers.

  • Orders under $200 ship with Authority to Leave unless a signature is requested.
  • Orders over $200 ship Signature Required for security and insurance purposes.

If you require a signature on an order under $200, contact us prior to dispatch and we’ll arrange it where possible.

Heavy & multi-box shipments

Some products — including subwoofers, enclosures, and complete audio system bundles — require special handling due to size and weight.

  • Items may ship in multiple cartons.
  • Specialised courier services may be used.
  • Dispatch or delivery times may be slightly longer.

Applicable bulky freight surcharges are shown in the shipping tables above.

Split shipments

Orders containing multiple items may ship separately to avoid delays. Each parcel will have its own tracking number. If you prefer everything shipped together, let us know — please note this may delay dispatch.

Other international destinations

We can ship to most international locations; however, shipping rates are not calculated automatically at checkout.
