Cut-offSame-day dispatch
- Orders placed after 1:00pm typically go the next business day.
- Bank transfer orders ship once funds clear, normally 2–5 business days.
- During peak periods and around public holidays, add 2–4 business days.
We know you would rather be riding than waiting on a parcel. This page covers dispatch times, freight rates, and what happens if something goes wrong on the way to you.
In stock and ordered before 1:00pm AEST? It usually goes out the same business day. Free freight within Australia over $2,500. Until it reaches you, it is our responsibility.
We pack and dispatch Monday to Friday, AEST.
If your order contains a pre-order or special-order item, we hold the whole order until everything is ready — unless you would rather we split it.
Ask and we will confirm whether any additional freight applies before we make the change.
All prices are in Australian dollars.
Bulky items are large or heavy products such as subwoofer enclosures, loaded sub kits and multi-box system bundles. The bulky surcharge is waived automatically on orders over $2,500.
Typical transit is 3–7 business days to metro areas after dispatch; regional and remote addresses take longer.
New Zealand customs duties, GST and import charges are set by NZ authorities and are payable by you. We cannot declare a lower value or mark a shipment as a gift.
We can ship to most countries, but international rates are not calculated at checkout.
Email support@motorcycleaudio.com.au with what you are after and your full delivery address, and we will come back with a freight quote before you commit to anything. We do this regularly and we are happy to help.
Import duties, taxes and customs charges are set by your government and are your responsibility. As above, we cannot under-declare a shipment.
Brisbane riders are welcome to collect from the workshop by arrangement. It saves you the freight, and on bulky items it saves a lot of it.
Our workshop and dispatch location on Brisbane’s north side. We are not a retail showroom and we cannot take walk-ins.
These are estimates rather than guaranteed dates. If the expected timing changes, we will update you.
Transit time on top of dispatch varies by courier and location — metro is usually quick, regional and remote take longer. If something is running late we would rather tell you than leave you guessing, so chase us any time.
Who carries it, how you follow it, and who is responsible along the way.
We use tracked courier services — StarTrack, TNT, FedEx and DHL among them — and arrange transit cover where applicable. We need a street address; we cannot deliver to PO Boxes or parcel lockers.
We ship signature-required by default. Audio gear is worth stealing and a signature is the cleanest proof it reached you.
You will get tracking by email as soon as your order is dispatched. These are order notifications rather than marketing, so you receive them whether or not you are subscribed to our emails.
If it has not arrived, check your spam folder first, then contact us and we will resend it.
Three situations where freight works a little differently.
Some batteries and power products are classified as dangerous goods and cannot travel by air. That can mean road freight only, longer transit to Western Australia, the Northern Territory and remote areas, and in some cases no international shipping at all.
If your order contains a battery and there is a restriction, we will contact you before dispatch with the options.
Subwoofers, enclosures and complete system bundles are big. They may ship in several cartons, may go via specialist freight, and may take a little longer to dispatch and deliver.
Applicable surcharges are in the rates above.
Where an order has multiple items we may ship them separately rather than hold everything for one slow line. That is our operational decision and it is at our cost. Each parcel gets its own tracking.
If you would prefer it all in one go, tell us — it may delay dispatch but that is your call. If you ask us to split an order, we will confirm any additional freight first.
Damaged, missing or lost. Tell us early and we will deal with the carrier.
Take photos of the product, the internal packaging and the outer shipping carton including the label, and send them to us. Keep all of it until we confirm what is needed.
Tell us as soon as you can — carriers set their own deadlines for damage claims and an early report gives us the best shot at recovering it.
Tell us. If tracking says delivered and you have not got it, let us know as soon as possible — ideally within 10 business days — so we can begin the investigation while the courier still holds the delivery data.
That is our problem, not yours. If a courier loses it we will replace it or refund it and deal with the carrier ourselves. You should not have to chase a freight company over an order you placed with us.
The exception is a parcel confirmed delivered where you asked for Authority to Leave, or where you changed the delivery instructions with the courier yourself.
