Shipping & Delivery

We know you’d rather be riding than waiting around for parcels. This page explains how shipping works at Motorcycle Audio Australia — from dispatch times to bulky freight — in clear, rider-friendly terms.

Quick shipping overview (Australia)

Bulky items include large or heavy products such as subwoofer enclosures, loaded sub kits, and multi-box audio systems. The bulky surcharge is automatically waived on orders over $2,500.

Where your order ships from

All orders are packed and dispatched from our Brisbane warehouse, Monday to Friday (AEST).

Orders placed before 1:00 PM AEST will usually ship the same business day when items are in stock. Orders placed after 1:00 PM or during busy periods typically ship the next business day.

Orders paid via bank transfer or other clearing methods ship once funds have cleared (usually 2–5 business days).

How long delivery takes

• In-stock items: Same or next business day dispatch
• Out-of-stock items: Approx. 14 business days
• Custom-built items: Approx. 14 business days
• Pre-orders or special orders: Approx. 21 business days

Once dispatched, delivery times vary depending on location and courier. Metro areas usually arrive within a few days, while regional and remote locations may take longer.

Tracking your order

As soon as your order leaves our warehouse, we email you tracking details so you can follow it all the way to your door. If you don’t see it, please check your spam folder or contact us.

Courier delivery & signatures

We use insured courier services such as StarTrack, TNT, FedEx, and DHL. A street address is required — we do not ship to PO Boxes or Parcel Lockers.

• Orders under $200 are shipped with Authority to Leave unless a signature is requested
• Orders over $200 are shipped Signature Required for security and insurance

If you need a signature on an order under $200, contact us before dispatch and we’ll arrange it where possible.

Heavy & bulky freight

Some items — like subwoofers, enclosures, and full audio system kits — require special handling due to size and weight.

These items may:

• Ship in multiple boxes
• Use specialised courier services
• Take slightly longer to dispatch or deliver

A $24.95 bulky freight surcharge applies to these products, but is automatically waived on orders over $2,500.

Split shipments

If your order contains multiple items, it may be shipped in more than one parcel to avoid delays. Each parcel will have its own tracking number.

If you prefer everything to ship together, let us know — just be aware it may delay dispatch.

International shipping

We ship worldwide using DHL Express, FedEx, and UPS. Delivery times depend on destination and service level. Express services typically arrive within 7–14 business days, while economy services can take longer.

Import duties, taxes, and customs charges are set by your local government and are the customer’s responsibility.
