Where can you fit an 8, 10 or 12 inch speaker on a Harley?

Can I fit an 8, 10 or 12 inch driver in a factory position?
Not in a standard factory opening. An 8 inch speaker commonly goes in a custom build, a speaker saddlebag lid or a lower fairing, and sometimes the Tour-Pak. 10 and 12 inch drivers generally need a purpose-built enclosure, such as a modified saddlebag, a Tour-Pak or trunk box, or a custom sealed or ported chamber. Trikes have no saddlebags, so trike builds use the trunk.
What is the difference between a mid-bass driver and a subwoofer?
A mid-bass driver fills the punch between the front speakers and deep bass, while a subwoofer handles the lowest frequencies. Many Harley builds use an 8 or 10 inch mid-bass in the saddlebags and a sub in a Tour-Pak or trunk box.
What amplifier do these need?
