Cicada Audio 24HDBAG10LID69 — 2024+ Harley Assembled Saddlebag System with 10-inch Bag and 6x9-inch Lid Cutouts
OEM-style assembled saddlebag system for 2024+ H-D® Touring — 10-inch bag cutouts and 6×9-inch Vivid Black lids, pre-damped and ready to bolt on
The Cicada Audio 24HDBAG10LID69 is a fully assembled OEM-style saddlebag system for 2024+ Harley-Davidson® Touring models — bags cut for 10-inch Pro Mid-Bass drivers, assembled 6×9-inch lids painted in Vivid Black, precision-cut damping already installed, and the rings, ports, dividers, hinges, speaker wire and rear output harness all in the box. Everything needed to build a serious rear stage is included. You add the speakers.
This is the standard-profile system. The bags keep the factory 2024+ outline, so the bike looks stock from ten paces and the lids sit on the same lines as the OEM bags — the difference is what is inside them. Where an extended bag system such as the 2014–2023 14HDXBAG10LID69 trades appearance for internal air volume, the 24HDBAG10LID69 keeps the OEM silhouette and pannier lines intact while still carrying a 10-inch mid-bass driver in each bag.
Who This Is For
Riders and installers building a full rear audio stage on a 2024+ Harley-Davidson® Touring model who want 10-inch Pro Mid-Bass in the bags and 6×9-inch speakers in the lids, and who want the bike to keep its factory saddlebag profile. If the bike is a 2014–2023 Touring model, the equivalent systems are the extended 14HDXBAG10LID69 (6×9 lids) and 14HDXBAG10LID8 (8-inch lids). If you would rather cut your own bags than buy them assembled, the 24HD Saddlebag Foundation Bundle gives you the ring, template and port kit to do it yourself.
What This Is Best For
- A complete rear-stage foundation in one order — bags cut for 10-inch Pro Mid-Bass, assembled and painted 6×9 lids, damping installed, ports, dividers, hinges, speaker wire and the rear output harness all included. Nothing to source separately, and no compatibility guesswork about whether the ring clears the port or the divider suits the lid speaker.
- Pre-damped where it actually matters — precision-cut damping panels are already installed in the bag lowers and the lids (a $249 value). Saddlebag walls are large, thin, unbraced ABS panels; loaded with a 10-inch driver they resonate at exactly the frequencies the driver is producing, which is heard as boom and rattle rather than bass. Treating the panel is what converts cone excursion into output instead of noise.
- Stock profile, no cutting your own bags — the OEM silhouette is retained, so panniers, guards and luggage racks sit as they did from the factory, and the fabrication risk of cutting a $1,000-plus set of bags freehand is removed entirely.
- Correct air volume management — the CHD69HD dividers separate the lid speaker's air space from the mid-bass chamber. Without a divider, the 6×9 in the lid becomes a passive radiator driven by the 10-inch below it — it flaps, distorts, and robs the mid-bass of the loading it needs. The 24HDPORT3 right-angle ports then tune the chamber and carry the wiring through the bag wall on a sealed pass-through rather than a drilled hole and a grommet.
- Wiring sorted end to end — 10 AWG and 14 AWG speaker wire with quick disconnects, plus the 24HDRO rear output harness so the amplifier connects to the 2024+ factory rear output without cutting the OEM loom. Bags come off for service by unplugging, not by unpicking.
- Built for the Cicada Audio® driver range — designed around the CMB10.S4 and CMB10.S4NEO 10-inch Pro Mid-Bass drivers and Cicada Audio® 6×9-inch speakers, so cutouts, depths and mounting hardware are matched rather than adapted.
Ride with Audio. Tour with Luggage. Switch in Minutes.
These are a direct bolt-on swap with your OEM 2024+ bags — no permanent modification to the motorcycle. Keep the stock bags in the garage, fit the audio system when you want the music, and swap back whenever you need full touring luggage capacity. Same bike, both worlds. The lids are built to work with the factory 2024+ electric latch system, so the bike's normal locking and remote release behaviour is retained.
The Bottom Line
A complete OEM-style saddlebag system for 2024+ H-D® Touring — bags cut for 10-inch Pro Mid-Bass, assembled Vivid Black 6×9 lids, pre-damped, with ports, dividers, hinges, wiring and the rear output harness included. Add drivers, add an amplifier, and the rear stage is done. Pair it with a FLX1600.1 or FLX2500.1 mono amplifier for the mid-bass.

Why the Damping Is Not an Optional Extra
A saddlebag is a large, flat, unbraced ABS box. Mount a 10-inch mid-bass driver in one wall and the remaining walls become a loudspeaker of their own, radiating a smeared, delayed version of whatever the driver is playing. The audible result is the boom-and-rattle character that most bag builds are judged by. The 24HDBAG10LID69 ships with damping panels precision-cut for the 2024+ bag lower and lid and already installed — mass on the panel raises its effective inertia and moves its resonance out of the driver's working band. On the road: at cruising speed the mid-bass arrives as a defined note instead of a wash, and the lid stops buzzing against the latch every time the bass line lands.
Why the Divider and the Port Work Together
The CHD69HD divider isolates the lid speaker from the mid-bass chamber below it. Share the air space and the 6×9 is no longer driven only by its own voice coil — it is also driven by pressure from the 10-inch, which pushes the cone around uncontrolled. That costs the 6×9 its clarity and costs the mid-bass its enclosure. The 24HDPORT3 then vents the isolated mid-bass chamber through a right-angle port sized for the volume, with a sealed pass-through for the speaker cable so the bag keeps its weather integrity. On the road: the lid speaker stays articulate at volume while the mid-bass loads properly, and the bag doesn't take on water at the wiring entry in the first decent downpour.
Why 10-inch in a Standard Bag
Air volume determines how low a driver can usefully play, which is the argument for an extended bag. A standard-profile bag has less of it — but a 10-inch cone has roughly 56 per cent more radiating area than an 8-inch, and that area advantage does not depend on enclosure size. Running a 10-inch driver in an OEM-profile bag is the trade a rider makes when the bike's stock lines matter: slightly less bottom-end extension than an extended bag, considerably more output and headroom than an 8-inch in the same space. On the road: at highway speed, where wind noise sets the floor, cone area and headroom do more for perceived bass than the last few hertz of extension ever will.
