Motorcycle Audio Australia is an authorised Hogtunes and Wild Boar Audio dealer. Lodge your claim with us and we manage it with the supplier on your behalf.

Before you send anything

Every product warranty claim starts with an RMA number from us. Contact us first — do not send, destroy, cut or modify anything until we have issued one.

To the original owner, from the original purchase date:

  • 20 years — standard Hogtunes speakers
  • 5 years — Hogtunes XL Series and Wild Boar Audio speakers
  • 3 years — Hogtunes and Wild Boar amplifiers, unless otherwise stated in the owner’s manual
  • 2 years — Metrix Audio UTV-1 Kit, Element X amplifier and Element 1 speakers

Field destruction, and advance replacement

Hogtunes settles most approved claims without the product coming back.

Hogtunes conditionsWhat you will be asked for

Once the claim is approved you will be asked to photograph the destroyed product:

  • Speakers — a photo of the destroyed speaker.
  • Amplifiers and electronics — a photo showing all wires cut flush to the body, with the serial number visible.

An advance replacement can be sent before the destruction photos are supplied, against a refundable deposit — $50 for speakers, $100 for electronics. The deposit is refunded once the photos are received.

Do not destroy anything before the claim has been approved. Products destroyed before a Hogtunes technician approves the claim are not covered.
Limits

What the product warranty does not cover

  • Products that have been misused, overpowered or physically damaged
  • Incorrect installation or wiring faults
  • Units opened or repaired by an unauthorised service centre
  • Products purchased from a non-authorised source

If we fitted itOur work is assessed separately

The list opposite covers the product itself. Where MAA completed the installation, concerns about our wiring, fitment or integration are assessed under our Workshop Guarantee & Service Terms instead.

MAA workshop workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months from handover, and the initial assessment is free.

Making a claim

Start with us, not the manufacturer

All product warranty claims go through Motorcycle Audio Australia. You lodge it with us and we manage the supplier process on your behalf.

  • Contact us first. Do not send, destroy, cut or modify anything until we have issued a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) number — sometimes called an RA number.
  • Have your details ready. Proof of purchase, model and serial number, and a clear description of the fault.
  • Read the process once. What to send, freight responsibilities, packaging conditions and our water and weather position are all on the MAA Warranty page.
  • No RMA, no guarantee it gets processed. Products sent without a valid RMA may be refused or delayed. An RMA is a return authorisation — it does not by itself decide whether the product is covered.
