Shipping policy
1. General Shipping Information
All orders are processed Monday to Friday (AEST) from our Brisbane warehouse. Orders placed before 1:00 PM AEST typically ship the same business day if all items are in stock.
Orders paid via methods requiring clearing (e.g. eCheck, bank transfer) will ship once funds have been received, usually within 2–5 business days.
Tracking details are emailed once your order has dispatched. If you have unsubscribed from marketing emails, you may not receive tracking notifications.
During peak periods, public holidays, or sale events, dispatch times may extend by 2–4 business days. Orders containing pre-order or special-order items will ship when all items are available unless arranged otherwise.
2. Shipping Rates (Australia)
Shipping charges are based on your order value and any applicable bulky-item surcharges:

*Bulky surcharge applies to oversized or heavy items such as subwoofer enclosures, loaded sub kits, and multi-box audio systems. The surcharge is automatically waived on orders over $2,500.
3. Delivery Method & Signature Policy
We ship exclusively via insured courier services such as StarTrack, TNT, FedEx, or DHL. A street address is required — we do not ship to PO Boxes or Parcel Lockers.
- Orders under $200 ship with Authority To Leave unless signature is requested.
- Orders over $200 ship Signature Required for security and insurance purposes.
- Once the carrier confirms delivery and obtains a signature where required, ownership and risk transfer to the customer.
- Delivery preferences changed directly with the courier transfer responsibility to the recipient.
4. Estimated Dispatch & Transit Times
- In-stock items: same or next business day.
- Custom-built items: approx. 14 business days.
- Out-of-stock items: approx. 14 business days.
- Special-order or pre-order items: approx. 21 business days.
Transit times may vary by courier performance and location. Please allow 3–4 additional days during peak periods. Remote and regional areas may experience extended delivery windows.
5. International Shipping
We ship internationally using DHL Express, FedEx, or UPS. Delivery times vary by destination and service level. Economy services may take up to six weeks and may have limited tracking.
International customers are responsible for import duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees. Motorcycle Audio Australia cannot declare lower values or mark shipments as gifts.
If an international order is refused or returned due to unpaid duties or incorrect address information, reshipping or partial refund (less actual freight cost) may be offered at our discretion.
6. Lost, Damaged, or Tampered Packages
Transit damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos of the packaging and product. We will assist with carrier claims and provide a suitable resolution.
If tracking shows your parcel as “Delivered” but you have not received it, please notify us within 10 business days so we can investigate.
Motorcycle Audio Australia is responsible for accurate dispatch, but cannot cover theft or loss after confirmed delivery.
7. Partial Shipments
Orders containing multiple items may be shipped separately to avoid delays. Each shipment will receive its own tracking number.
8. Bulky Freight Conditions
Certain products (such as subwoofer enclosures and multi-box audio kits) incur a $24.95 bulky freight surcharge due to dimensional and weight requirements. This surcharge is automatically waived for orders over $2,500.
Bulky items may ship via specialised freight services and may require additional handling or delivery time.
