Harley-Davidson Trike Audio
A trike is not a Touring bike with an extra wheel. There are no saddlebag speaker positions on any Harley trike, and a secondary amplifier mounts to the frame under the seat rather than in a bag — so a two-wheel parts list does not transfer. Three generations sit behind that one sentence, and the differences between them decide what fits.

2009 to 2013 — Advanced Audio
The Tri Glide® Ultra Classic and the 2010–2011 Street Glide® Trike run Harley's Advanced Audio system, before Boom! Box. The integration path differs from everything that followed, so these are usually planned as a build rather than picked off a shelf. See Harley Trike Audio 2009–2013.
2014 to 2025 — Boom! Box
The Tri Glide® Ultra ran Boom! Box for its whole production — 6.5GT early, GTS from 2019 — and its fairing and speaker positions never changed, so one parts list covers twelve model years. It kept the pre-redesign batwing when the two-wheel bikes moved on for 2024, so a 2024 or 2025 Tri Glide is still Boom! Box and does not need an A2B interface. 2026 and newer — Skyline OS
The redesigned Road Glide® 3, the Street Glide® 3 Limited and the CVO™ Street Glide 3 Limited all run Skyline OS with A2B digital audio and 6.5 inch factory speakers. A conventional line output converter cannot attach to a digital bus, so an amplified build reaches these bikes through a compatible A2B interface. See Harley Trike Audio 2026+.
What You Need Before Ordering
- Your exact model: Tri Glide Ultra, Road Glide 3, Street Glide 3 Limited or CVO — each fits differently.
- Your year: it decides the generation. 2014–2025 is Boom! Box; 2026 is Skyline OS. The break is 2025 to 2026, not 2024.
- An A2B interface only for Skyline: the 2026 trikes need one for an amplified build. A 2024–2025 Tri Glide does not.
- No saddlebag positions: rear audio on a trike is a Tour-Pak or a dedicated pod, never a bag lid.

Is a trike the same as a two-wheel Touring bike for audio?
No. There are no saddlebag speaker positions on any Harley trike, and a secondary amplifier mounts to the frame under the seat rather than in a bag. Position sets and mounting both differ, so confirm your exact model and year before choosing.
Does my 2024 or 2025 Tri Glide use Skyline OS?
No. The Tri Glide Ultra stayed on Boom! Box GTS for its whole run to 2025 and was discontinued for 2026 — it never received Skyline. It does not need an A2B interface, and 2024+ two-wheel parts are not a match for it.
Does a Road Glide 3 need an A2B interface?
Only from 2026. The 2023–2025 Road Glide 3 uses Boom! Box GTS and integrates as a Boom! Box bike. The 2026 Road Glide 3 moved to Skyline OS and needs a compatible A2B interface for an amplified build. Confirm the year.
