Audio Kits – Trike Touring
Complete Audio Kits for the Harley-Davidson Tri Glide® Ultra and Freewheeler®
Trike complete audio kits pair a matched amplifier, speakers and wiring in one package, which removes the compatibility research that comes with building a trike system from individual components. The Tri Glide® Ultra is a faired batwing trike, so batwing-based kits are available for it by year, and the kits stocked here are selected for trike fitment. The Freewheeler® is unfaired, so plan its front end around its own layout and check the fitment on each kit for your exact model.
The kit choice includes Cicada 14FLX front-stage systems, the Hogtunes 225-SG-KIT and Wild Boar packages that list Ultra and Tri Glide fitment. As with any trike build, weigh the extra electrical load: a higher-output kit should include a power and ground upgrade and a charging review so voltage holds under sustained use.
Why You'll Love It
- Matched, one-box builds: amplifier, speakers and wiring engineered together, selected for trike fitment.
- Cicada 14FLX front-stage systems: FLX four-channel amplifiers paired with CX or CXX pro coaxial speakers for the faired Tri Glide.
- Brand choice: Cicada, Hogtunes and Wild Boar kits that list Ultra and Tri Glide fitment.
- Charging-aware: guidance on power, ground and charging for the added electrical load of a trike.
- Tuning benefit: the longer front-to-rear distance on a trike makes a DSP-equipped kit especially worthwhile.
FAQ
Do batwing kits fit a Tri Glide?
The Tri Glide® Ultra is a faired batwing trike, so batwing-based kits are available by year. Check the fitment on each kit for your exact model, and note that 2024 and newer Skyline OS trikes need a kit built for the A2B platform.
Are Freewheeler kits the same as Tri Glide kits?
Not necessarily. The Freewheeler® is unfaired, so its speaker layout and mounting differ from the faired Tri Glide Ultra. Check the fitment on each kit for the Freewheeler.
Do trikes need a charging upgrade for a kit?
A trike carries extra electrical load, so a higher-output kit should include a power and ground upgrade and a charging review. A lithium battery alone does not increase stator output.
Can I build my own instead of a kit?
Yes. See the trike amplifiers and trike speakers to assemble a system to your own spec.
