The Wild Boar WBASG-KIT.2R is a complete plug-and-play front-stage audio upgrade for the 2014–2023 Harley-Davidson® Street Glide and the 2014–2024 Ultra Limited, Ultra Classic, and Tri Glide Ultra models. It fits the batwing fairing on these models and does not fit the redesigned 2024 Street Glide (FLHX), which uses a different fairing and factory system. The kit pairs a WBA 400.2R 2-channel Class-D amplifier with WBC 1654 6.5″ front speakers, with everything required for installation included — amplifier, speakers, mounting plate, and wiring harness — and no wire cutting required.

Radio Flash — Required Before Installation
A TechnoResearch or Harley-Davidson® dealer radio software re-flash is required before installing this system. Factory Harley Infotainment firmware applies EQ curves, dynamic compression, and output limiting designed around stock speakers — these remain active after an amplifier is installed and will significantly reduce the performance of the WBASG-KIT.2R. R.E.M.I.T. Technology
All Class-D amplifiers generate electromagnetic interference that reduces FM radio reception — this applies to every brand and every Class-D design. Wild Boar's R.E.M.I.T. (Reduced Electro Magnetic Interference Technology) is a proprietary circuit included in the WBA 400.2R that minimises this interference, delivering better FM performance than standard motorcycle Class-D amplifiers. Adding a second or third amplifier to the system will increase FM interference — this is normal and expected with any multi-amp configuration. For best FM performance, retain the factory external antenna rather than using an in-fairing antenna.
