Level 3 PRO front stage for 2014–2023 Harley Touring — FLX700.4PRO DSP amplifier and CH65.2C horn coaxial fairing speakers, pre-wired for rear expansion
The Cicada Audio 14FLXPCH-4X2 is the Level 3 PRO front stage upgrade for 2014–2023 Harley-Davidson® Touring models. Built around the FLX700.4PRO 4-channel DSP amplifier and 2Ω CH65.2C horn coaxial fairing speakers, it includes a full four-harness Molex® integration set — rear channels pre-wired for speaker addition later. 6 AWG wiring, model-specific amplifier rack, and branded grilles included. Select Road Glide or Street Glide at checkout.
The 14FLXPCH-4X2 steps up from the 14FLXCH-4X2 in both amplifier and speaker — the FLX700.4PRO adds integrated DSP for tuning front and rear channels independently, and the CH65.2C at 2Ω runs at the rated 175W output of the PRO amplifier rather than the 125W @ 2Ω of the FLX500.4. The rear Molex® harnesses are included, so adding rear speakers later requires no additional wiring work. For the complete front-and-rear system now, see the 14FLXCH-4X4.
Who This Is For
Riders who want the highest-output front stage available with DSP tuning capability — and either plan to add rear speakers later or are building front-only. The FLX700.4PRO's integrated DSP allows independent level, EQ, and crossover control for each channel pair; the 2Ω CH65.2C horn coaxials run at the amplifier's rated 175W output. All four Molex® harnesses are included so rear speakers can be connected without touching the wiring. For the front-stage with a simpler setup, see the 14FLXCH-4X2. For front and rear now, see the 14FLXCH-4X4.
What This Is Best For
- FLX700.4PRO — DSP control over the front stage — the FLX700.4PRO adds a full DSP processor to the amplifier. Independent control over output level, EQ, and crossover for each channel pair — dial in the CH65.2C front stage precisely, set high-pass crossover to protect the fairing driver, and tune for your riding environment. At 175W × 4 into 2Ω, there is substantial headroom above the CH65.2C's rated input.
- CH65.2C horn coaxials — 2Ω, 175W, directional projection — the CH65.2C horn-loaded tweeter concentrates high-frequency energy directly toward the rider. At 2Ω on the FLX700.4PRO front channels, the CH65.2C runs at full rated amplifier output. On the road: horn projection through the fairing with 175W behind it and DSP-tuned EQ above it — the front stage of the 14FLXPCH-4X2 is the highest-performance fairing speaker setup in the standard Touring kit range.
- Pre-wired for rear expansion — all four harnesses included — the 14FLXPCH-4X2 includes all four Molex® harnesses: HDFiM, HDRIM, HDFLXFo, and HDFLXRo. The rear channels are fully wired through the amplifier — adding saddlebag lid speakers later is a plug-in operation with no rewiring required.
- 6 AWG wiring — correctly sized for the FLX700.4PRO — the HDPG6K 6 AWG power and ground kit handles the PRO amplifier's higher current draw. Running 8 AWG on a 700W design introduces resistance and voltage drop; the 6 AWG kit is correctly sized from the start.
Road Glide or Street Glide?
The amplifier, speakers, harnesses, and wiring are identical in both variants. What differs is the model-specific mounting hardware. The Road Glide variant includes the 14HDAR-RG amplifier rack and CHDRGG kidney grilles. The Street Glide variant includes the 14HDAR-SG amplifier rack and CHDSGG batwing grilles.
This System Requires a Radio Flash
Before installing any amplified audio upgrade on a 2014–2023 Harley-Davidson® Touring model, the factory Infotainment radio needs to be flashed. Stock firmware applies EQ curves, dynamic compression, and output limiting — with a DSP amplifier, factory processing stacks on top of your DSP settings and defeats the purpose of tuning. A flash removes factory processing and lets the FLX700.4PRO work from a clean signal. TechnoResearch or any authorised Harley-Davidson® dealer, approximately 30 minutes and $150–$300 AUD.
The Bottom Line
The Level 3 PRO front stage — FLX700.4PRO DSP amplifier, CH65.2C 2Ω horn coaxial fairing speakers, full four-harness Molex® wiring set, 6 AWG power kit, model-specific rack, and branded grilles. Rear channels pre-wired — add saddlebag lid speakers later without touching the install. Select Road Glide or Street Glide above. For the complete front-and-rear system, see the 14FLXCH-4X4.

The FLX700.4PRO — DSP Amplifier
The FLX700.4PRO delivers 175W RMS per channel into 2Ω with an integrated DSP processor. Independent level, EQ, and crossover control for front and rear channel pairs — when rear speakers are added, the DSP allows both stages to be set independently. The 6 AWG HDPG6K wiring is correctly sized for the PRO amplifier's current draw. On the road: the DSP allows the CH65.2C front stage to be tuned precisely — high-pass crossover set to protect the fairing driver, output level matched to the listening position, EQ adjusted for the acoustic environment of the fairing. A fixed-response system cannot do this.
The CH65.2C Horn Coaxial Speakers
The CH65.2C is Cicada Audio's 6.5″ horn coaxial at 2Ω. The horn-loaded tweeter directs high-frequency energy toward the rider; at 175W from the FLX700.4PRO front channels, the CH65.2C is driven at its rated input with significant headroom above riding-level output. On the road: DSP-tuned horn coaxials at 175W — the combination of directional projection, rated power, and the ability to tune the response means this front stage performs at the ceiling of what a fairing speaker position can deliver.
