Hertz SX 165 NEO – High-Output 6.5″ Coaxial Speakers for Harley Touring
The Hertz SX 165 NEO delivers clear, punchy midrange and crisp highs that cut through wind, pipes, and highway noise – exactly what Harley riders expect from a serious audio upgrade. With a lightweight neodymium motor, weather-ready construction, and high efficiency, these are built for fairings, lowers, or Tour-Pak locations.

- Builds using moderate amplifier power – up to 100 W RMS, with 60 W RMS the sensible minimum.
- Installers able to set a 150 Hz high-pass at 12 dB/octave; lower crossover points mean reducing amplifier power.

Recommended Power
- Amplifier Power: up to 100 W RMS (do not exceed the driver's 100 W rating)
- Minimum: 60 W RMS
- High-Pass Filter: 150 Hz @ 12 dB/octave – Hertz's rated condition for 100 W continuous
- Important: crossing over lower than 150 Hz increases cone excursion on a driver with only 1.5 mm Xmax, so the power the speaker will safely accept drops as you lower the crossover point. Reduce amplifier power accordingly.
