The Velocity OverDrive 6x9 Pro Audio Kit is a complete saddlebag speaker upgrade for Harley-Davidson® Touring bikes, engineered by American Hard Bag. It includes matched 6x9 pro-audio midrange drivers, high-output horn tweeters and mounting hardware for a plug-and-play install into saddlebag lids, with no fabrication. Paired with a quality motorcycle amplifier it turns the rear stage into serious volume and horn-loaded clarity.
This is the top 6x9 saddlebag kit in the Velocity OverDrive range. For a single full-range 6x9 coaxial instead of a matched mid-and-horn kit, the Velocity RZ69H is the simpler option. The R690 and RZ75H component kit is the same driver pairing sold as separates.

You want maximum rear-fill output and projection from your saddlebags, matched to a loud front stage. The OverDrive 6x9 kit suits high-output touring and SPL builds running a strong four to six channel amplifier. If you only want to refresh the rear with a single drop-in speaker per lid, the RZ69H coaxial is the lighter upgrade.

The OverDrive 6x9 kit fits Harley Touring saddlebags with 6x9 locations, factory or aftermarket cut-in. If your lids are not already cut for 6x9, you need a saddlebag lid kit first. Curved and flat lids differ by model, so confirm your bike and lid style before ordering, and tell us your model if you want that checked.

The kit centres on high-efficiency 6x9 pro-audio midrange drivers tuned for open-air motorcycle use. A pro-audio mid trades deep low end for efficiency and midrange output, which is the right trade for a saddlebag that has to be heard over wind. On the road: the rear stage stays present and punchy at highway speed instead of disappearing behind the exhaust.
The matched horn-loaded tweeters handle the top end with forward projection. Because they are matched to the mids and mounted with the supplied hardware, the front-to-back tonal balance stays consistent. On the road: rear detail and vocals track the front stage rather than sounding like a separate, duller system behind you.
