The Cicada Audio 14FLXPCM-4X8 is the Level 4 PRO full-stage component kit for 2014–2023 Harley-Davidson® Touring – eight drivers across the front fairing and saddlebag lids, powered and tuned by the FLX1400.4PRO DSP amplifier at 350W × 4 at 2Ω. The front stage is a CM65.2X 6.5″ Carbon Matrix mid-bass pair with an RR075T tweeter pair at the grille; the rear stage is a CM69.2X 6×9″ Carbon Matrix mid-bass pair with a second RR075T pair on CHD69TB tweeter bridges, fitted to the saddlebag lids with the CHDLID cut-in kit. This is the full-stage partner to the 14FLXPCM-4X4, which covers the front fairing only with a CM65.4X mid-bass pair and RR075T tweeters on an FLX700.4PRO. The two kits are built differently: the 4X4 gives each of its four drivers a dedicated amplifier channel, while the 4X8 spreads eight drivers across the FLX1400.4PRO's four channels – one channel per side, per stage – with the higher-output amplifier and 2Ω mid-bass drivers to match. Who This Is For
The 14FLXPCM-4X8 is for the rider doing a complete component build on a 2014–2023 Road Glide® or Street Glide® – separate mid-bass and tweeter drivers in both the fairing and the saddlebag lids, the same RR075T tweeter front and rear, and DSP control over each stage from one amplifier. If the saddlebag lids aren't being upgraded yet, the 14FLXPCM-4X4 covers the fairing on its own. If you'd rather keep one driver per position, the 14FLXPCH-4X4 is the horn coaxial alternative.
What This Is Best For
- Component drivers at both stages, one DSP amplifier – the FLX1400.4PRO's four channels drive front left, front right, rear left and rear right. On each channel the mid-bass and tweeter are split by the tweeter's supplied 7 kHz / 12 dB crossover, and the DSP sets EQ, level, filtering and time alignment for each stage. On the road: front and rear can be tuned independently for the fairing and the saddlebag lids – useful when a pillion is on board or rear fill needs to change for a long highway run.
- CM65.2X – Carbon Matrix mid-bass for the fairing – a dedicated 6.5″ mid-bass at 2Ω, with no coaxial tweeter on the cone to add mass or share its magnet. At 2Ω it presents the load the FLX1400.4PRO is rated into. On the road: vocals and upper bass stay controlled at the output levels a full-stage system is built for.
- CM69.2X – 6×9″ Carbon Matrix mid-bass for the saddlebag lids – the same cone material and 2Ω impedance as the front driver, in the larger 6×9″ format, fitted with the CHDLID cut-in kit. On the road: the rear stage adds output and coverage for the rider and pillion without asking the fairing to do all the work.
- RR075T front and rear – one tweeter model throughout – two RR075T pairs: 0.75″ ring radiator horns with a 1.0″ aluminium diaphragm, 100 dB sensitivity and 50W RMS. The rear pair mounts on CHD69TB bridges across the 6×9″ openings. At the front, the Road Glide variant's pair comes fitted to the CHDRGGTK grille kit; the Street Glide variant's pair ships separately to fit the CHDSGGT grille cutouts. On the road: the same tweeter at both stages keeps high-frequency character consistent as you balance front and rear.
- FLX1400.4PRO – 350W × 4 at 2Ω with integrated DSP – 1,400W total rated output from a Class-D chassis sized for the fairing amp position, with a 6-channel DSP tuned over USB-C with DIALD™ Windows PC software and settings stored on the unit. The optional C2C USB-C extension brings the tuning port to an accessible point so the fairing doesn't have to come apart for each adjustment. On the road: once tuned, no laptop stays connected.
- HDFLXPro4K – signal and 4 AWG power in one kit – the 4-channel FLX harness kit with 4 AWG power wire, matched to the FLX1400.4PRO's 4 AWG requirement. Together with the CHDLID lid kit and the model-specific rack, the mounting and wiring hardware for the install is in the box.
Road Glide or Street Glide? Why the Street Glide box has an extra tweeter pair
Every 14FLXPCM-4X8 includes one RR075T pair for the rear bridges. What differs is how the front tweeters arrive. Road Glide: the CHDRGGTK is a grille-and-tweeter kit, so the front RR075T pair is already in the grille box – along with the 14HDAR-RG rack. Street Glide: the CHDSGGT grilles have tweeter cutouts but no tweeters, so the Street Glide variant ships a second loose RR075T pair for the front – along with the 14HDAR-SG rack. Both variants finish with four RR075T tweeters on the bike: two in the fairing, two in the lids.
This System Requires a Radio Flash
Before installing any amplified audio upgrade on a 2014–2023 Harley-Davidson Touring model, the factory Infotainment radio needs to be flashed. With a DSP amplifier, factory processing stacks on top of your DSP EQ and filter settings. A flash removes factory processing so the FLX1400.4PRO's DSP operates on a clean signal. 14FLXPCM-4X8 or 14FLXPCM-4X4?
The 14FLXPCM-4X4 is a front-only kit: CM65.4X mid-bass and RR075T tweeters, each on its own FLX700.4PRO channel, with the crossover done entirely in DSP. Choose it if the saddlebag positions are already sorted or you're building in stages. The 14FLXPCM-4X8 adds the saddlebag lids – CM69.2X mid-bass and a rear RR075T pair – and moves to the FLX1400.4PRO and 2Ω mid-bass drivers, with each channel covering one side of one stage. Choose it for a complete front-and-rear component system in a single install.

What's Inside the 14FLXPCM-4X8
The amplifier is the FLX1400.4PRO – a 4-channel Class-D unit rated at 350W RMS per channel at 2Ω (1,400W total), with an integrated 6-channel DSP offering HP, BP and LP filters at 6–48 dB/oct, per-channel EQ and time alignment. In this kit channels 1–2 drive the front stage and channels 3–4 the rear stage. On the road: front and rear levels, EQ and delay are set separately, so the rear stage can be brought up for a pillion without disturbing the fairing tune.
The front mid-bass is the CM65.2X – a 6.5″ dedicated mid-bass with a Carbon Matrix cone, chosen for stiffness relative to its mass: rigid enough to stay linear at high excursion, light enough not to slow the motor. On the road: the cone stays consistent from a cold morning start to a closed fairing in summer heat.
The rear mid-bass is the CM69.2X – the 6×9″ sibling of the CM65.2X, with the same cone material and 2Ω impedance, fitted to the saddlebag lids with the CHDLID cut-in kit. On the road: rear output and coverage for rider and pillion from a driver built for the mid-bass range.
The tweeters are two pairs of RR075T – 0.75″ shallow ring radiator horns using a 1.0″ aluminium diaphragm with a high-temperature voice coil and heat-sink design, rated at 50W RMS / 100W peak, 100 dB sensitivity (1W/1m), 2–20 kHz response and 28.9 mm (1.13″) mounting depth. Each pair includes 7 kHz / 12 dB crossovers in vented cases. On the road: the horn directs high-frequency energy at the listening position rather than into the fairing cavity or the saddlebag wall.
The CHD69TB tweeter bridges mount the rear RR075T pair across the 6×9″ speaker openings in the CHDLID lids. On the road: rear high frequencies are aimed up toward the rider and pillion instead of at the road.
How Eight Drivers Run on Four Channels
Each FLX1400.4PRO channel feeds one side of one stage: a mid-bass and a tweeter together. The tweeter's supplied 7 kHz / 12 dB passive crossover keeps low frequencies out of it, while the DSP shapes what that channel receives – EQ, level, filtering and time alignment – for the front and rear stages independently. Music energy above 7 kHz is a small share of total programme power, so a tweeter on a 350W channel sees far less than the channel's rating; set gains with the RR075T's 50W RMS rating in mind all the same. On the road: the practical result is one amplifier, one tuning session, and a front and rear stage that can each be dialled in for where they sit on the bike.
