This Rockford Fosgate kit is a six-speaker, 400 watt audio system for select 2014 and newer Harley-Davidson® CVO Road Glide and CVO Street Glide models. It includes two TMS65 6.5 inch upper fairing speakers, two TMS65 6.5 inch lower fairing speakers, two TMS57 5 inch by 7 inch saddlebag lid speakers, the TM400X4ad Power Marine 400 watt Class-AD 4-channel amplifier and the RFK-HD14 installation kit. Your factory Harley-Davidson radio must be flashed to use this kit, and the lower fairings must be non-water-cooled.
This is the full stage in one package: upper fairing, lower fairing and bag lids, driven by one amplifier and wired through a T-harness that integrates into the factory electrical system. Factory amplifier bypass plugs are supplied as part of the kit.
Who This Is For
You ride a CVO Street Glide or CVO Road Glide with non-water-cooled lower fairings, you want the lowers and the bags playing as well as the uppers, and you are prepared to have the factory radio flashed. If six speakers is more than you need, the 2014+ CVO four-speaker and amp kit covers the fairing and bags without the lowers. If you are adding an amplifier to speakers you already have, the 2014+ amplifier wiring kit is the installation half on its own.
What This Is Best For
- Sound from three positions at once. Upper fairing, lower fairing and saddlebag lid speakers are all supplied in the one kit.
- Speakers tuned for the wind. The 6.5 inch fairing speakers and the 5 inch by 7 inch bag lid speakers are frequency-response tuned to overcome wind, exhaust and road noise up to 75 mph (120 km/h).
- One amplifier, split front and rear. The TM400X4ad runs two channels to the upper and lower fairing speakers and two channels to the rear bag lid speakers.
- Factory integration rather than a workaround. The T-harness integrates into the electrical system for front and rear fading, and factory amplifier bypass plugs are supplied.
Check your lowers, your radio and your model year
The lower fairing speakers require non-water-cooled lower fairings. The factory Harley-Davidson radio must be flashed, and front and rear fader control through the T-harness requires the "Rockford Fosgate 2014+ All Bikes" flash. The DSR1 digital signal processor is sold separately. The compatibility list supplied with this kit names the 2018 – 2020 CVO Street Glide (FLHXSE) in six-speaker form, while the kit is described more broadly as suiting select 2014 and newer CVO models, so confirm your bike before ordering. What is in the kit
The TMS65 speakers are 6.5 inch two-way Element Ready™ drivers with an integrated phase-aligned 25 mm tweeter, supplied as two pairs: one for the upper fairing and one for the lowers. The TMS57 speakers are factory replacement 5 inch by 7 inch two-way drivers with the same phase-aligned 25 mm tweeter, for the saddlebag lids. The TM400X4ad amplifier is a Power Marine 400 watt Class-AD 4-channel amp, split two channels front and two channels rear. The RFK-HD14 installation kit supplies the external heat-sink, mounting brackets, speaker and power wiring and all necessary hardware. The T-harness handles front and rear fading, comes with factory amplifier bypass plugs and carries a loop-thru for an optional DSR1 processor. On the road: with the uppers, the lowers and the bag lids all playing, the sound reaches you from three positions rather than only from the fairing.
