A 400 watt amplified fairing upgrade for the 2014 and newer Street Glide® and Road Glide®
This Rockford Fosgate kit is a two-speaker, 400 watt audio system for select 2014 and newer Harley-Davidson® Road Glide and Street Glide models. It includes a pair of TMS65 6.5 inch fairing speakers, the TM400X4ad Power Marine 400 watt Class-AD 4-channel amplifier and the RFK-HD14 amplifier wiring kit, which brings the external heat-sink, mounting brackets, speaker and power wiring and all necessary hardware. Your factory Harley-Davidson radio must be flashed to use this kit.
It is a front-stage system with room to grow. Two amplifier channels drive the fairing speakers and two are left spare for a Tour-Pak® or saddlebag pair, so the amp you fit today still has headroom when you add the rear.
Who This Is For
You ride a 2014 or newer Street Glide, Road Glide or one of their Special and ST variants, or a 2021 Electra Glide® Revival, and the factory fairing speakers are the weak point at highway speed. You are happy to have the factory radio flashed, and you want amplified output up front now with the rear left as a later decision. What This Is Best For
- Real amplifier power in the fairing. The TM400X4ad is a 400 watt Class-AD 4-channel Power Marine amplifier, with two channels dedicated to the 6.5 inch fairing speakers.
- Speakers tuned for the wind. The TMS65 fairing speakers are frequency-response tuned to overcome wind, exhaust and road noise up to 75 mph (120 km/h).
- Room to expand later. Two amplifier channels are held in reserve for a Tour-Pak or saddlebag pair, so the rear can be added without changing the amp.
- A complete, bolt-in installation. Direct connect harnesses, factory attachment points, no drilling and no cutting, with heat-sink, brackets, wiring and hardware supplied.
Your factory radio must be flashed
This kit does not work with an unflashed radio. The factory Harley-Davidson radio has to be flashed, and front and rear fader control through the T-harness requires the "Rockford Fosgate 2014+ All Bikes" flash. The DSR1 digital signal processor is sold separately. Fitment is model and year specific, so check your bike against the table below. What is in the kit
The TMS65 fairing speakers are 6.5 inch two-way Element Ready™ drivers with an integrated phase-aligned 25 mm tweeter, frequency-response tuned for highway speeds. The TM400X4ad amplifier is a Power Marine 400 watt Class-AD 4-channel amp: two channels for the fairing pair and two more for a Tour-Pak or saddlebag pair when you expand. The RFK-HD14 amplifier wiring kit is the installation half of the package: external heat-sink, mounting brackets, speaker and power wiring, all necessary hardware and direct connect harnesses for Harley-Davidson models. The T-harness supports front and rear fader control with the "Rockford Fosgate 2014+ All Bikes" flash and carries a loop-thru for an optional DSR1 processor. On the road: 400 watts behind a fairing pair tuned for highway speeds means the music holds up against wind and exhaust noise without the volume sitting at its limit.
