This Rockford Fosgate kit is a 6-speaker, 400 watt system for select 2014 and newer Harley-Davidson® CVO Road Glide® and CVO Street Glide® models. It includes four TMS65 6.5 inch speakers for the upper fairing and the lowers, two TMS57 5×7 inch saddlebag lid speakers, a TM400X4ad 400 watt 4-channel amplifier and the RFK-HD14 amplifier wiring kit with a T-harness and factory amplifier bypass plugs. The factory Harley-Davidson radio must be flashed to use this kit.
There is no receiver in this kit because you keep the factory head unit. The flash and the T-harness do the integration work, which is what keeps front and rear fading alive once the amplifier is in the loop.
Who This Is For
You ride a CVO bagger with the lower fairings fitted, you want the fairing, the lowers and the bag lids all driven properly, and you are happy to have the factory radio flashed as part of the job. If you are leaving the lowers alone, the four-speaker CVO kit is the shorter version of the same build. If your bike is a non-CVO Ultra, look at the Road Glide Ultra and Electra Glide® Ultra Classic® four-speaker kit instead.
What This Is Best For
- Filling out a CVO with lowers. Two 6.5 inch speakers in the upper fairing, two more in the lowers and two 5×7 inch speakers in the bag lids, all supplied together and matched.
- Keeping fader control. The T-harness integrates into the electrical system for front and rear fading, with the Rockford Fosgate 2014+ All Bikes flash.
- Volume that survives the highway. The fairing and bag lid speakers are frequency-response tuned to overcome wind, exhaust and road noise up to 75 mph (120 km/h).
- A bolt-in install with no cutting. The kit bolts to factory attachment points and uses direct connect harnesses made for Harley-Davidson models, with factory amplifier bypass plugs supplied.
Three things to confirm before ordering
Your radio has to be flashed. The factory Harley-Davidson radio must be flashed with the Rockford Fosgate 2014+ All Bikes flash, and front and rear fader control depends on it.
Your lowers must not be water-cooled. The lower fairing speakers in this kit suit non-water-cooled lowers.
Your bag lids must be ABS plastic. The saddlebag part of this kit fits ABS plastic lids and does not fit fibreglass lids. Rockford Fosgate lists this kit for select 2014 and newer CVO Road Glide and CVO Street Glide models, and the published compatibility chart names the 2018 – 2020 CVO Street Glide (6-speaker). What is in the kit
The TMS65 speakers are 6.5 inch two-way Element Ready™ drivers with an integrated phase-aligned 25 mm tweeter, and four of them cover the upper fairing and the lowers. The TMS57 speakers are factory replacement 5×7 inch two-way drivers with the same tweeter, and they take the bag lids. The TM400X4ad amplifier is a Power Marine 400 watt Class-AD 4-channel amp, with two channels on the upper and lower fairing speakers and two on the bag lid speakers. The RFK-HD14 amplifier wiring kit carries an external heat-sink, mounting brackets, speaker and power wiring and all the necessary hardware, plus the T-harness that handles fading and carries a loop-thru for an optional DSR1 processor. On the road: the factory radio stays where it is and still fades front to rear, with all six positions driven by the amplifier.
