This Rockford Fosgate kit is a 6-speaker, 400-watt audio system purpose built for select 1998 – 2013 Harley-Davidson® Road Glide models. It includes the PMX-HD9813 digital media receiver, a TM400X4ad Power Marine 400 watt Class-AD 4-channel amplifier, a pair of TMS6RG 6.5 inch fairing speakers, a pair of TMS69BL9813 6×9 inch saddlebag lid speakers, a pair of TMS5 Power 5.25 inch Tour-Pak® speakers and the RFK-HD9813 amplifier wiring kit.
This is the complete front, bag and rear stage in one matched package, built to work together on the 1998 – 2013 sharknose. Refer to the compatibility details below to verify fitment before purchasing.
Who This Is For
You ride a 1998 – 2013 Road Glide Ultra (FLTRU), you have ABS plastic saddlebag lids and a Tour-Pak, and you want the whole system done in one go rather than a pair at a time. If you would rather leave the saddlebags and the amplifier for later, the Road Glide Ultra four-speaker kit is the step down without the amplifier. The RFK-HD9813 wiring kit is also available on its own if you are building up in stages.
What This Is Best For
- A full six-speaker stage in one purchase. Receiver, amplifier, fairing, saddlebag lid and Tour-Pak speakers and the wiring kit, all matched to each other.
- Real amplifier power. The TM400X4ad is a 400 watt Class-AD 4-channel Power Marine amplifier with two channels for the 6.5 inch fairing, 5.25 inch Tour-Pak and 6×9 inch bag lid speakers.
- Volume that holds up at highway speed. The speakers are frequency-response tuned to overcome wind, exhaust and road noise up to 75 mph (120 km/h).
- A bolt-in install with no cutting. Direct connect wiring harnesses for Harley-Davidson models, factory attachment points, and an install kit with heat-sink, brackets, wiring and hardware.
- Room to grow. Y-adaptors in the install kit support expansion of lower fairing, saddlebag or Tour-Pak speakers.
Check your radio and your bag lids before ordering
The radio is not compatible with factory amplified systems, CB, intercom, rear volume controls, rear speakers on 1998 – 2005 Ultra models, or factory satellite radio systems. The saddlebag kit fits ABS plastic lids, does not fit fibreglass lids, and is not compatible with the H-D Power Lock Kit. Installation on CVO™ and Screaming Eagle™ models is not plug-and-play and will require modification. The Tour-Pak speakers are not 100% plug-and-play, so contact us for the work-around before ordering. The receiver is SiriusXM® Ready, though SiriusXM is not available in Australia. If you are unsure what your bike has, tell us the model and year and we will check it for you.
What is in the kit
The PMX-HD9813 digital media receiver is the source: Bluetooth® wireless streaming, USB and AUX inputs, Pandora® and an AM/FM digital tuner, with front and rear fader control supported through radio integration. The TM400X4ad amplifier is a Power Marine 400 watt Class-AD 4-channel unit. The TMS6RG speakers are 6.5 inch two-way Element Ready™ fairing drivers with a phase-aligned 25 mm tweeter and a Road Glide grille. The TMS69BL9813 speakers are a 6×9 inch Element Ready retrofit kit for factory hard-shell bags in non-fibreglass models. The TMS5 speakers are Power 5.25 inch full-range Tour-Pak drivers. The RFK-HD9813 wiring kit ties it together with an external heat-sink, mounting brackets, speaker and power wiring and all necessary hardware. On the road: the fairing, the bag lids and the Tour-Pak are driven by the same 400 watt amplifier, so the whole bike lifts together when you turn it up.
