2023.5 CVO & 2024+ Harley Touring Audio — New Platform, New Possibilities
Harley-Davidson’s latest Touring redesign introduced a completely new platform architecture — including revised fairings, a new Skyline™ OS infotainment system, and a fundamentally different audio integration strategy.
This platform first appeared on 2023.5 CVO models and is now used across all 2024+ Touring models, including Street Glide, Road Glide and the latest Trike variants.
Every product in this collection has been specifically tested and confirmed compatible with this new-generation platform.
What Changed with the 2023.5+ Platform?
- Redesigned fairing architecture with different speaker mounting requirements
- Skyline™ OS infotainment system replacing previous radio platforms
- Digital A2B (Automotive Audio Bus) signal routing
- Updated factory wiring and signal paths
- New amplifier locations and configurations
- Different connector types in some applications
- Revised CAN-bus integration
Understanding Skyline™ OS and A2B Integration
The most significant change is the move to a digital A2B audio network between the head unit and amplifier.
Unlike previous Harley Touring models, the audio signal is no longer available as a conventional analogue output. This means amplifier upgrades require a dedicated A2B interface to extract and convert the digital signal correctly.
Without proper A2B integration, you are not working with a clean, full-range source signal — which limits tuning accuracy and overall system performance.
