The Velocity RZA500.2 is a 2-channel Class-D amplifier rated 275W RMS per channel into 2 ohms, engineered by American Hard Bag to fit inside tight Harley-Davidson Touring fairings. It drives a pair of high-efficiency mids, horn tweeters or 6x9 speakers, and is sold in two forms: amplifier only, or the RZA500.2-WP with a premium waterproof 8AWG power harness.
The RZA500.2 is the two-channel amplifier in the Velocity range. Choose it for a front stage or a saddlebag pair; step up to the four-channel Velocity RZA1000.4 when you want to run front and rear from one amp, or the RZA500.2 Twin combo for a dual-amp four-channel setup.
Who This Is For
You want to power a two-channel Harley stage: a fairing pair of horn-loaded speakers, a set of 6.5 in mids and horns, or a 6x9 saddlebag pair. The RZA500.2 has the output and the compact chassis to do it inside a Road Glide® or Street Glide® fairing. If you need four channels for a full front and rear system, go to the RZA1000.4 instead.

Which version: RZA500.2 or RZA500.2-WP
Both are the same amplifier. The RZA500.2-WP adds a premium 8AWG waterproof, inline-fused power harness with waterproof connectors, so you have a complete, weather-sealed power feed ready to install. Choose the plain RZA500.2 only if you already run a distribution block or aftermarket power wiring. If in doubt on a new build, the WP version removes the wiring guesswork.

Inside the RZA500.2
The amplifier uses a Class-D output stage, which converts more of the current the Harley charging system supplies into output and less into heat. On the road: the amp holds output inside a sealed fairing on a hot day where a less efficient design would heat-soak.
The RZA500.2-WP power harness is 8AWG, waterproof and inline-fused. Correct gauge and a sealed, fused feed are what keep voltage stable at the amplifier and protect the bike's wiring. On the road: the amp sees full voltage under load and the power feed shrugs off rain and wash-downs.
