RRWG-69A - 6" x 9" ANGLE Waveguide-requires RR3TM/2TM-Pair

$345.00 AUD
SKU: RRWG-69A

The 6×9 angled wave guide. Directional horn aim for saddlebag lid builds.

The Cicada Audio RR3WG-69A is a 6×9-inch angled horn acoustic wave guide for the RR2TM and RR3TM compression motors — engineered with a built-in directional angle that aims horn output toward the rider from saddlebag lid positions. UV-stable all-weather composite construction. Nanofram™ compatible. Sold as a pair. Motor not included.

The RR3WG-69A shares the same motor throat and acoustic design as the RR3WG-69F flat and RR3WG-69S shallow variants, but with a precision-engineered angle built into the horn profile. From a flat saddlebag lid mount, the horn exit faces away from the rider — the RR3WG-69A corrects this by pointing the horn mouth upward and forward toward the rider without external wedging, angled brackets, or pod modifications. Compatible with both the RR2TM (2-inch ferrite) and RR3TM (3-inch neo) motors.

Who This Is For

Riders building a saddlebag lid horn stage where the listening position is forward and above the lid surface — the typical riding position. The built-in angle concentrates horn energy at the rider rather than projecting horizontally into space. For maximum projection from a flat-mounted position, the RR3WG-69F is the full-depth flat option. For tight clearance without directional correction, the RR3WG-69S is the shallow option.

What This Is Best For

  • Saddlebag lid builds where the rider is the primary listening position — the angled horn mouth concentrates output at seat height rather than projecting horizontally; perceived loudness and clarity at the rider's ear improve significantly over a flat-mounted horn.
  • Builds with the motor mounted flush in the saddlebag lid surface — eliminates the need for angled pods, wedge mounts, or external brackets to aim the horn at the rider.
  • RR2TM or RR3TM builds where directional aiming is the installation priority — choose the angled variant when the flat doesn't aim where you need it.

Waveguide only — motor required separately.

The RR3WG-69A is an acoustic wave guide. A compression motor — RR2TM (ferrite) or RR3TM (neo) — is required and sold separately. For flat-mounted builds, see the RR3WG-69F (full-depth) or RR3WG-69S (shallow).

The Bottom Line

The 6×9 angled wave guide — built-in directional aim for saddlebag lid horn stages. Same motor compatibility as the flat and shallow variants. All-weather composite. Nanofram™ compatible. Sold as a pair. Motor sold separately.

What's Inside the RR3WG-69A

The RR3WG-69A uses the same motor throat and acoustic flare profile as the RR3WG-69F, with a precision-angled body that redirects the horn mouth toward the rider when the waveguide is mounted flat in the saddlebag lid. The angle builds in the directional correction at the waveguide level — no aftermarket angled adapter, wedge mount, or external pod required. The horn mouth continues to produce the same controlled wide horizontal dispersion as the flat variant; the angle just ensures the primary acoustic axis faces the rider rather than horizontally away from the bike.

Construction is UV-stable, moisture-resistant composite for continuous outdoor and powersports exposure. Nanofram™ compatible. Stainless steel mounting hardware included.
