The Cicada Audio QDW1012 is a 10 AWG speaker wire kit with waterproof quick disconnects – 12-foot red/black pair with male and female waterproof connectors pre-installed for fast, secure, weather-resistant connections in high-current motorcycle audio applications.
10 AWG speaker wire is for runs where current demands are higher than a standard 14 AWG wire can handle cleanly – subwoofer wiring, long runs to Tour-Pak or saddlebag-mounted drivers, or any position where voltage drop on the speaker line would affect low-frequency output. The QDW1012 combines that heavier gauge with waterproof quick disconnect terminations at both ends, making it suited to saddlebag and Tour-Pak positions where the connection needs to survive moisture and allow the bag to come off without cutting.

What's Inside the QDW1012
The run is 10 AWG conductor in a red and black pair, 12 feet of it, which is the gauge for lines where 14 AWG would introduce measurable loss: subwoofers, high-current mid-bass, and the longer routes out to a saddlebag or Tour-Pak driver. On the road: less of the amplifier's output is spent as resistance in the line, so more of it is still doing work at the driver.
Both ends arrive with waterproof quick disconnects already fitted, male and female. The seal on the termination is what suits this version to positions that see moisture. On the road: the bag comes off and goes back on at the plug, and the connection is protected from weather while it sits there.
