Ultra / Electra Glide (2014-2023)

Audio upgrades confirmed compatible with 2014–2023 Ultra Limited, Ultra Classic and Electra Glide models running Boom! Box GTS. Ultra models carry the Tour-Pak as standard, adding a third speaker stage — 6.5" drivers in each Tour-Pak lid — on top of the 6.5" front fairing and 6×9" saddlebag positions available on the Street Glide platform. A complete Ultra audio build can run six individual speaker positions from a six-channel or two-amplifier setup.

The Boom! Box GTS head unit on this platform outputs analogue speaker-level signal — clean and straightforward to interface with an aftermarket amplifier. A SaddleTramp wiring harness for the 2014–2023 platform connects to the factory audio harness without splicing, providing clean power, speaker-level input, and remote turn-on connections in a single plug-in loom.

If you're building on a 2014–2023 Ultra and want to include the Tour-Pak stage in your planning — speaker selection, amp channels, level matching — call us before ordering. The Tour-Pak adds meaningful complexity to a six-position build. Ships Australia-wide and to New Zealand.

Ultra & Electra Glide Audio — 2014–2023 Full-Dresser Platform

The 2014–2023 Ultra and Electra Glide share the batwing fairing platform with the Street Glide but add Tour-Pak audio from the factory — making them the most fully-featured standard touring audio platform in the Harley range. Upgrading this platform properly means addressing multiple speaker positions and giving each stage adequate amplification.

Factory Audio on This Platform

Standard 2014–2023 full-dresser models run 6.5" fairing speakers, Tour-Pak speakers and Boom! Box infotainment. Some Ultra Limited configurations add lower fairing or saddlebag audio depending on trim. Factory power is shared across all positions — amplification is the primary bottleneck on long highway runs in Australia and New Zealand.

Common Upgrades

Speaker upgrade: Both fairing and Tour-Pak positions can be upgraded independently or together. Matched 6.5" upgrades across front and Tour-Pak give a cohesive result across the whole bike.

Amplifier addition: A 4-channel amp drives fairing and Tour-Pak independently, freeing both stages from factory power limitations. Plug-and-play harness kits are available for this generation.

Complete system: Head unit, speaker and amp packages give you a fully matched system — particularly valuable on the full-dresser platform where multiple stages need to balance against each other.

Adding saddlebag audio: Ultra models with aftermarket saddlebag lids can add a rear stage, creating a true multi-position audio setup across the full touring platform.

Fitment Notes

This platform uses 6.5" fairing speakers. Tour-Pak speaker sizing varies by model — confirm at the product level before ordering. CVO variants may include additional or different speaker positions. Boom! Box generation and handlebar control type affect head unit compatibility. Contact us before ordering if you're building a multi-stage system and want to confirm everything works together.
