Hardware comes with a manufacturer’s warranty. The work we do to fit it comes with this.
If we did the work
If we installed it, tuned it or wired it, we stand behind it. Bring the bike back and we’ll put it right.
Cover
What’s covered, and what it costs to find out
One guarantee covers the hardware. The other covers what we did with it.
The guaranteeWhat we guarantee
Where we supplied and fitted your system, you’re covered on two fronts: the manufacturer’s warranty on the hardware, and our workmanship on the installation.
Our workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months from the day you ride out. That covers:
Mounting, brackets, adapters and enclosure work we fabricated or fitted
Wiring, grounding, connectors, fusing and power distribution we installed
Signal integration — harnesses, line output converters, A2B and CAN bus interfacing
DSP configuration and the tune we handed the bike over on
Panel, fairing and lid refitting
If something isn’t right — an intermittent, a rattle, a channel that’s dropped out, a tune that doesn’t sound the way it did when you left — bring it back. We’ll diagnose it, and where it’s our work or hardware we supplied, we’ll fix it at no cost to you.
Your rights under Australian Consumer Law sit on top of this and are not limited by it. Installation work carries a consumer guarantee that it will be carried out with due care and skill, and that guarantee lasts as long as is reasonable — which may well be longer than 12 months.
AssessmentWe don’t charge you to look
If you think something’s wrong with work we did, we’ll assess it for free. No inspection fee, no diagnostic charge, no hourly clock running while we work out whose problem it is.
That applies before you buy anything, too. If you’re not sure what’s already in your bike, we’ll pull the fairing and tell you. We don’t charge for that either.
If it turns out the fault sits somewhere we didn’t touch — a failing battery, a charging system problem, a fault in the factory loom — we’ll tell you exactly what we found and what it will cost to fix before we start.
Labour & tuning
What the work costs, and how it’s set up
Quoting and tuning are both part of the same job, so both are set out here.
LabourLabour and how we quote
Workshop labour is $150 per hour including GST, billed in 15-minute increments.
Every build is quoted individually and fully itemised, with labour, parts and tuning listed separately. You’ll know what the labour component is before we start, not after.
If a job runs longer than quoted because of something we got wrong — a mis-estimate, a part that didn’t fit the way we said it would — that’s on us, not on your invoice. If it runs long because of something we found on the bike that nobody could have known about, we’ll stop and talk to you before we keep going. We won’t hand you a surprise.
TuningTuning
DSP tuning is part of every build, not an add-on. Before handover, the finished bike runs as our shop system for the day, playing hard, so anything marginal fails here rather than 200 kilometres down the road.
The final tune is done with your phone connected to your bike, because different devices output differently and the system should be dialled in around what you’ll actually use.
Within 12 months, if the tune drifts, a driver’s behaviour changes, or you’ve lived with it a while and want it adjusted, bring the bike in. Retuning a system we built is included.
If you change the system — add a driver, swap an amplifier, fit different speakers — that’s a new tune and it’s chargeable at the rate above.
Limits
Where the guarantee starts and stops
What we can stand behind on someone else’s work, and what this guarantee does not cover.
Rescue workWork other shops did
We take on rescue work: phase correction, signal analysis, crossover adjustment and wiring repair on systems installed elsewhere.
Be aware of what we can and can’t stand behind. We guarantee the work we do and the parts we supply. We can’t guarantee an installation we didn’t perform or hardware we didn’t sell, and we can’t warrant that a system built around someone else’s decisions will reach a result it was never capable of.
We’ll assess it, tell you honestly what’s wrong, and tell you before we start whether the outcome you want is achievable with what’s on the bike. If it isn’t, we’ll say so rather than take your money.
ExclusionsWhat this doesn’t cover
Faults in the motorcycle itself — charging system, battery, factory loom, ECU — unless they were caused by our work
Damage from an accident, impact, drop or water ingress beyond what the components are rated for
Work performed on our installation by someone else afterwards
Components you supplied yourself, other than our labour in fitting them
Normal wear — speaker surrounds, connectors and fasteners have a service life
A system pushed consistently beyond the limits we explained at handover
If you’re not sure which side of that line your problem sits on, call us. We’d rather look at it than have you assume you’re not covered.

Booking inBringing the bike back
Call or email first so we can book the bike in — warranty work goes into the schedule the same as any other job
Tell us what’s happening in your own words. A short video with sound is worth ten emails for an audio fault
Have your invoice or order number handy
Interstate customers — talk to us first. A lot gets resolved remotely, and where it can’t, we’ll work out the freight before you book anything
