The 2026 Harley trike range is all-new and moves to Skyline OS. This guide covers the current 2026 trikes, their very different factory audio systems, the digital A2B audio network, speaker fitment by model, amplifiers, DSP tuning and complete upgrade paths.
Important model note: The 2026 Australian trike range comprises the Road Glide 3, Street Glide 3 Limited and CVO Street Glide 3 Limited. All three use Skyline OS, but their factory audio systems are very different: the Road Glide 3 has two 5.25-inch fairing speakers, the Street Glide 3 Limited has four 6.5-inch fairing and Tour-Pak speakers, and the CVO Street Glide 3 Limited has six amplified 6.5-inch speakers across the fairing, lowers and Tour-Pak. Quick answer: Every 2026 trike uses Skyline OS with a digital A2B audio network, so adding an amplifier or DSP normally needs a compatible A2B interface (a speaker-only swap using the factory amplification does not automatically need one). The factory systems scale up sharply: two 5.25-inch speakers on the Road Glide 3, four 6.5-inch on the Street Glide 3 Limited, and six 6.5-inch on the factory-amplified CVO. Plan each build around the specific model, its speaker layout and, on the CVO, its factory amplifier.

Skyline OS, A2B and Adding Amplification
On the 2026 Skyline OS trikes, audio runs over a digital A2B network, so traditional analogue integration methods cannot be assumed to work directly. When you retain the factory Skyline OS system and add aftermarket amplification, a compatible A2B interface, confirmed for the exact model year and factory-audio package, is normally required to provide usable analogue outputs. The NAV-TV ZEN-H is one available interface, but fitment should be confirmed for the specific trike before ordering.
Connecting aftermarket amplification to a Skyline system without the correct interface or bypass strategy can result in missing channels, unsuitable signals or loss of factory control functions.

2026 Road Glide 3 Audio System
The redesigned 2026 Road Glide 3 uses Skyline OS with a 12.3-inch display and two 5.25-inch factory fairing speakers, driven at 50 watts per channel, with Harley-Davidson Audio. Like the earlier Road Glide 3, its factory audio is concentrated in the Sharknose fairing, so a rear zone is a custom addition rather than a factory-speaker swap. 2026 Street Glide 3 Limited Audio System
The 2026 Street Glide 3 Limited runs four 6.5-inch speakers: two in the Batwing fairing and two in the new Grand Tour-Pak, which has integrated passenger speaker pods. It uses Skyline OS at 50 watts per channel, with Harley-Davidson Audio powered by Rockford Fosgate. Because it has both a front fairing zone and a rear Tour-Pak zone, it benefits from independent front and rear tuning, particularly for two-up riding where the passenger sits close to the Tour-Pak speakers. Adding aftermarket amplification or an external DSP while retaining Skyline OS will normally require a compatible A2B interface confirmed for the exact model and factory-audio package, and matched 6.5-inch speakers should be confirmed for each factory location.
2026 CVO Street Glide 3 Limited Audio System
The 2026 CVO Street Glide 3 Limited is a different proposition. It runs six 6.5-inch speakers across three zones (two fairing, two lower fairing and two Tour-Pak) on a premium factory-amplified Harley-Davidson Audio system. The six-channel factory system is rated at 125 watts per channel on four channels and 150 watts per channel on two channels. Because it already has a capable factory amplifier and a three-zone layout, it should not be treated like the standard Street Glide 3 Limited or the Road Glide 3. A CVO build is about integrating with or replacing the existing factory amplification cleanly, retaining or improving the lower-fairing channels, and doing so through the correct Skyline / A2B path. This is best planned as a model-specific integration rather than a simple speaker swap.
Why Speaker Upgrades Alone Fall Short
A well-matched speaker upgrade can improve clarity, weather resistance and usable output. However, speaker replacement alone does not add amplifier headroom, correct the source configuration, or give you independent control of the zones. On these multi-zone Skyline bikes, riders seeking sustained, balanced output usually benefit from addressing the source integration (via the A2B interface), available power and per-zone control as part of the same build. Additional power must be matched to the speakers and impedance, and the system should not be asked to produce more output than its power supports.

How DSP and OEM Integration Help
Once the A2B interface provides usable outputs, a suitable DSP or DSP amplifier lets each zone be tuned separately, with independent level, equalisation, crossover control, channel routing and time alignment. Time alignment can manage arrival-time differences between the fairing and rear speaker locations for a chosen listening priority, usually the rider, or provide a compromise for two-up use. It cannot perfectly align every seating position simultaneously. A DSP cannot repair a source signal that is already clipping, restore dynamics removed by source-level compression, or change a speaker's physical direction.

Upgrade Paths: Choose by Your Goal
Any upgrade that adds aftermarket amplification or an external DSP while retaining Skyline OS normally requires a compatible A2B interface. A speaker-only replacement using the existing factory amplification does not automatically require one. Pick the path that matches your goal:
Path 1: Front Fairing Improvement
Confirmed direct-fit fairing speakers with the factory system checked. Suitable for a modest, clean front-stage improvement, most relevant to the two-speaker Road Glide 3, and it does not by itself require an A2B interface if you keep the factory amplification.
Path 2: Amplified Front Stage
Fairing speakers with an external amplifier or DSP amplifier, the correct A2B interface, and a proper gain and crossover setup.
Path 3: Multi-Zone Front and Rear
Matched fairing and rear (Tour-Pak, and on the CVO lower-fairing) speakers on their own amplifier channels, managed by a DSP or DSP amplifier with enough outputs to run the zones independently, through the A2B interface. Most relevant to the Street Glide 3 Limited and CVO.
Path 4: Full Multi-Zone System
All factory zones plus an optional subwoofer, sufficient amplifier channels, a DSP for routing, level control, integration and tuning, and the correct A2B interface.
Tuning for Road Noise and Two-Up Riding
Where a trike produces more road noise, and where the rider and passenger sit in different positions, independent levels, crossovers and EQ help balance the zones. Time alignment can then be set for a chosen listening priority, typically the rider, or as a two-up compromise. A DSP that supports multiple presets is useful: one preset for solo riding and another for two-up touring.
