Earlier this year we announced that Motorcycle Audio Australia had been appointed as the first authorised Cicada Audio dealer for Australia and New Zealand. Since then, we've been building out the full range — speakers, amplifiers, DSP amps, and complete staged systems — and it's now available to order with local support and Australian warranty backing.
What's in the Cicada range at MAA
Cicada Audio builds motorcycle audio systems specifically for highway riding. Their product line for Harley-Davidson Touring covers three areas:
Amplifiers
The Cicada FLX700.4 is a full-range four-channel Class-D amplifier rated at 700W RMS (175W × 4 at 2Ω). This unit is tiny! It's compact enough to fit two in the fairing of most Harley Touring platforms and works across 1998–present models. For riders wanting a full DSP amp solution, the FLX1400.4PRO is Cicada's flagship — a four-channel amp with onboard DSP, giving you amplification and tuning in a single unit without a separate processor. Speakers
Cicada's speaker range for Harley Touring includes coaxial and horn-loaded coaxial designs. The horn-loaded coaxials are the standout — horn-loading increases efficiency and projection, which translates to cleaner output at highway speed without needing as much amplifier power. Cicada also produces mid-bass drivers for systems that extend into a lower stage.
Complete staged systems for 2024+ Street Glide and Road Glide
For 2024+ Street Glide and Road Glide owners, Cicada offers a tiered complete system range — Levels 3 through 5 — that covers the full upgrade path from a solid two-stage build through to a full front, rear, and mid-bass system with DSP. These are purpose-built kits, matched and tuned as a system rather than individual components. They're the fastest path to a properly integrated result on the 2024+ platform.
- Level 3 PRO — 1,400W DSP system with horn-loaded coaxials front and rear
- Level 4 PRO — 1,400W DSP with active component front stage and rear speakers
- Level 5 / Level 5 PRO — full stage with Carbon Matrix horn coaxials front and rear

Why Cicada
Most motorcycle audio brands started in car audio and adapted their products for bikes. Cicada builds specifically for motorcycle applications — the speaker dimensions, mounting, tuning targets, and system architecture are designed around a fixed install environment with wind noise, vibration, and the acoustic challenges of an open-air ride at speed. The results at highway speed reflect that.
As the authorised Australian dealer, MAA can also provide proper warranty support — no grey import risk, no shipping products back overseas for a warranty claim.
Ordering and lead times
Stock levels vary across the range. Complete staged kits are available to order with lead times that vary depending on the configuration. Individual amplifiers and speakers are generally in stock.
