Tweeter diaphragm replacement for Cicada Audio® CH65, CH69, CH8, and CHX65 – 1.4-inch aluminium, 8Ω. Sold individually.
The Cicada Audio CHT14 is a replacement tweeter diaphragm for the Cicada Audio CH65, CH69, CH8, and CHX65 speakers – 1.4-inch aluminium diaphragm with high-temperature voice coil, 8Ω. Compatible with CH65, CH69, CH8, and CHX65 only. Sold individually.
The CH and CHX65 series are high-output pro horn coaxial speakers. When the integrated tweeter diaphragm fails, the CHT14 is a direct-fit replacement that restores full speaker function without replacing the entire unit. The aluminium diaphragm and high-temperature voice coil are spec-matched to the original CH65, CH69, CH8, and CHX65 tweeter, preserving output characteristics and impedance after replacement.
Who This Is For
Builders with a Cicada Audio CH65, CH69, CH8, or CHX65 speaker that needs a replacement tweeter diaphragm. For CHX69 and CHX8 tweeter diaphragm replacement, see the CHT175.
What This Is Best For
- Direct replacement for CH65, CH69, CH8, and CHX65 tweeter diaphragm – spec-matched 1.4-inch aluminium diaphragm restores original performance; compatible with these four models only.
- High-temperature voice coil – rated for the thermal demands of high-output audio systems in real riding conditions.
- 8Ω impedance match – matches the original CH/CHX65 tweeter spec; no system reconfiguration required after installation.
What's Inside the CHT14
The part is the tweeter diaphragm assembly used in the CH and CHX65 pro horn coaxial speakers: a 1.4-inch aluminium diaphragm on a high-temperature voice coil, at 8Ω. Diaphragm and coil are spec-matched to the original, so a replacement preserves the output characteristics and the impedance the rest of the system was set up around. On the road: a failed tweeter becomes a part swap rather than a whole speaker swap, and the horn goes back to full function.
The high-temperature coil is rated for the thermal demands of a high-output system in real riding conditions, and the diaphragm is sold individually so you replace the speaker that needs it. On the road: the system settings carry over after the swap, because the 8Ω match leaves the system with no reconfiguration to do.
