Level 1 front stage for 2024+ Harley Road Glide® — FLX500.4 amplifier and CX65.2 coaxials, rear speaker ready
The 24FLXCX-4X2RG is the Level 1 entry-point amplified front stage kit for 2024+ Harley-Davidson Road Glide®. It pairs the FLX500.4 4-channel Class-D amplifier — 125W × 4 at 2Ω — with CX65.2 6.5″ 2Ω coaxial speakers in the front fairing positions. The 24HDRO rear output T-harness is included to pre-wire the saddlebag speaker outputs alongside the front install, leaving the rear positions ready for a future upgrade without reopening the wiring. 24CHDRGG grilles and the 24HDAR-RG fairing amplifier mount complete the kit.
Important: A2B Interface Required — Not Included
2024+ Harley-Davidson Touring models use an A2B digital audio bus between the head unit and the factory amplifier. A standard aftermarket amplifier — including the FLX500.4 in this kit — cannot receive an analog signal directly from the 2024+ head unit without an A2B interface. This kit does not include a Zen-H or Zen-H Pro. You will need either the NAV-TV Zen-H (8-channel A2B to analog converter) or the NAV-TV Zen-H Pro (with onboard DSP) to complete the system. The Zen-H is available as an add-on at checkout.
Who This Is For
The 24FLXCX-4X2RG is for the 2024+ Road Glide® rider who wants an amplified front stage at an accessible entry point — clean factory-fit speakers, real amplifier power, and rear positions pre-wired for expansion — without the complexity or cost of a full DSP active system. It’s the Level 1 starting point for the 24FLX range. Note that a Zen-H or Zen-H Pro is required to connect the amplifier to your 2024+ head unit and is not included in this kit.
What This Is Best For
- CX65.2 — 2Ω coaxial front fairing upgrade — The CX65.2 is a 6.5″ 2Ω coaxial designed for the front fairing positions on Harley-Davidson Touring models. At 2Ω it draws maximum current from the FLX500.4’s output channels — 125W RMS per channel — delivering substantially more output than the factory speaker configuration. The 24CHDRGG grilles provide a direct-fit, branded replacement that retains the factory look. On the road: the increase from factory speaker levels to 125W RMS per channel significantly improves audibility at highway speeds, where ambient wind and exhaust noise raise the noise floor considerably.
- FLX500.4 — compact 4-channel Class-D amplifier — The FLX500.4 delivers 125W RMS × 4 at 2Ω in a form factor designed for the inner fairing cavity. The 24HDAR-RG amplifier mount positions it cleanly without custom fabrication. Class-D efficiency keeps heat manageable in the sealed fairing environment. Four channels cover the front pair and leave two spare for a rear-stage addition later. On the road: the amplifier sits out of sight inside the fairing with a factory-look finish.
- Rear speaker ready via 24HDRO — The 24HDRO 2024+ rear output T-harness pre-wires the saddlebag speaker outputs during the initial install. When you add rear speakers, they connect directly to the existing harness — no further wiring work required through the frame or fairings. The FLX500.4 already has the output channels available.
- Value kit — complete hardware, no A2B — Everything required for the amplifier and speaker install is included: HDFIM front input harness, HDFLXFO front output harness, 24HDRO rear output harness, HDPG8K 8 AWG power and ground kit, 24CHDRGG grilles, and the 24HDAR-RG amplifier mount. The one item to add separately is the A2B interface (Zen-H or Zen-H Pro) — available as a product add-on.
The Bottom Line
The 24FLXCX-4X2RG is the entry point for an amplified 2024+ Road Glide® build — FLX500.4 at 125W × 4, CX65.2 coaxials in the front fairing, rear positions pre-wired, and all installation hardware included. Add the Zen-H or Zen-H Pro at checkout to complete the system.

What’s Inside the 24FLXCX-4X2RG
The front speaker is the CX65.2 — a 6.5″ 2Ω coaxial designed for the fairing speaker positions on Harley-Davidson Touring models. The coaxial format integrates the tweeter concentrically in the woofer frame, fitting the factory cutout with no additional hardware. At 2Ω impedance it draws maximum output from each of the FLX500.4’s channels. On the road: the CX65.2 replaces the factory speaker with a driver rated for continuous high-output operation in a sealed fairing — the factory speakers are not designed for the power levels an aftermarket amplifier can deliver.
The amplifier is the FLX500.4 — a compact 4-channel Class-D unit delivering 125W RMS per channel at 2Ω. It mounts inside the inner fairing via the 24HDAR-RG amplifier mount, purpose-built for the 2024+ Road Glide® inner fairing. On the road: the compact Class-D form factor means the amplifier fits without removing or modifying the factory fairing structure.
The 24HDRO is the 2024+ rear output T-harness — it taps the rear saddlebag speaker outputs at the factory connector point during the initial install. When rear speakers are added later, they connect straight in without additional routing work through the frame or fairings. On the road: running this harness once during the initial install saves several hours of re-work on a future rear stage addition.
The HDPG8K provides 8 AWG power and ground cabling pre-terminated for the Harley-Davidson Touring charging system. At 125W × 4 at 2Ω the FLX500.4 draws moderate current — 8 AWG provides adequate conductor cross-section for this power level with proper voltage headroom. On the road: correct cable gauge maintains supply voltage under sustained driving.
Why a Zen-H Is Required
2024+ Harley-Davidson Touring models replaced the analog pre-out signal path with an A2B (Automotive Audio Bus) digital connection between the head unit and the factory amplifier. The FLX500.4 — like every conventional aftermarket amplifier — expects an analog input signal. Without an A2B interface, the amplifier receives no signal and produces no output. The NAV-TV Zen-H decodes the A2B bus and outputs eight channels of analog audio to the aftermarket amplifier. The Zen-H Pro adds onboard DSP processing for those who want independent EQ and time alignment. Choose the Zen-H for straightforward A2B conversion; choose the Zen-H Pro if DSP tuning is part of your build.
