The Cicada Audio CRT1 is a replacement tweeter diaphragm for the Cicada Audio RR1T horn tweeter – 1.0-inch aluminium diaphragm with high-temperature voice coil, 4Ω. Sold individually.
When a tweeter diaphragm fails, replacing the entire tweeter is unnecessary – the CRT1 is a direct-fit replacement diaphragm for the RR1T, restoring full tweeter function at a fraction of the cost of a new unit. The aluminium diaphragm and high-temperature voice coil are spec-matched to the original RR1T, so output characteristics and impedance are preserved after the swap.

What's Inside the CRT1
The CRT1 is the moving assembly of the RR1T horn tweeter rather than a whole new tweeter: a 1.0-inch aluminium diaphragm on a high-temperature voice coil, spec-matched to the original and sold individually. On the road: a failed diaphragm is a part you replace rather than a tweeter you replace, and the horn goes back to the output it had before.
Impedance stays at 4Ω, the figure the RR1T was built to, and the high-temperature coil is rated for the thermal demands of a high-output system. On the road: the impedance matches what the system was tuned around, so the amplifier and crossover settings can stay where they are after the swap.
