The Cicada Audio CRT3.0 is a replacement tweeter diaphragm for the Cicada Audio RR3T and RR3TM compression tweeters – 3.0-inch aluminium diaphragm with high-temperature voice coil, 8Ω. Sold individually.
The RR3T and RR3TM are high-output 3.0-inch compression tweeters used in demanding motorcycle audio builds. When the diaphragm fails, the CRT3.0 is a direct-fit replacement that restores full tweeter function without requiring a new unit. The aluminium diaphragm and high-temperature voice coil are spec-matched to the original RR3T and RR3TM, preserving output characteristics and impedance after replacement.

What's Inside the CRT3.0
Two parts do the work: a 3.0-inch aluminium diaphragm and a high-temperature voice coil, both spec-matched to the compression tweeter they go into. The aluminium sets the output character the RR3T and RR3TM were built with, and the coil is rated for the thermal demands of a high-output system in real riding conditions. On the road: the tweeter holds up through a long, loud run without pushing the coil past its rating.
Impedance stays at 8 ohms, matching the original spec, so the amplifier and crossover settings carry over unchanged. On the road: the diaphragm goes in and the system plays as before, with no reconfiguration stop first.
