Signal flows in from the factory or aftermarket head unit and out to the tweeter, with the harness handling the interface between the OEM connector and the tweeter terminals. The design allows the HD14.FHT to be added to an existing factory or aftermarket fairing speaker system without rewiring the factory loom.
