It installs plug-and-play, works with the factory radio or most plug-and-play aftermarket head units, and includes metal mesh front grills. 5-year speaker and 3-year amplifier warranty.
This is a matched system built around the smaller charging system of early Touring bikes, so it adds real output without stressing the electrical system. The XL Series speakers are based on Wild Boar Audio performance and tuned for these specific models.

It also fits 1998 to 2011 FLHTC Electra Glide® Classic and 2006 to 2013 FLHX Street Glide®, but only where rear speaker pods are fitted, and on the Street Glide with a King Tour-Pak added. How the system performs
The kit uses two 225W amplifiers with R.E.M.I.T. circuitry. R.E.M.I.T. is Hogtunes technology that addresses the FM reception problem Class-D amplifiers usually cause, so you keep radio and volume. On the road: the radio stays clear where a generic Class-D amp would swamp it with noise.
The XL Series 5.25 inch speakers use carbon-fibre woofer cones and studio-grade crossover parts. Carbon fibre is stiff and light for accurate midbass, and the tuned crossover keeps the response warm and smooth. On the road: vocals and detail stay clean and warm at highway speed rather than turning thin and harsh.
