The Precision Power HD13.FHT is a pair of 1" horn-loaded tweeters engineered to mount directly into the unused gauge openings on 1998–2013 Harley-Davidson® Touring fairings. At 105 dB sensitivity, they deliver high-frequency extension far beyond what a coaxial fairing speaker's dome tweeter can produce from the same position — and the included plug-n-play T-harness means installation requires no cutting or splicing of the factory loom.
The upper fairing of a 1998–2013 Road Glide®, Street Glide®, or Electra Glide® has gauge openings that factory instruments do not fully occupy. The HD13.FHT uses those openings. A 1" aluminium ring diaphragm with an integrated phase plug and horn contour focuses high-frequency energy forward — toward the rider — with a sensitivity figure that positions the tweeter well above the output level of a conventional coaxial dome in the same location. The result is substantially more high-frequency clarity and presence at highway speeds without any fairing modification.
Who This Is For
Riders who have upgraded or are planning to upgrade the main fairing speakers — HD13.52 or similar 5.25" coaxials — and want to add a dedicated high-frequency driver in a factory-fit gauge position. The HD13.FHT adds the upper register definition that a coaxial tweeter at a fairing speaker position cannot match.

- HD13 front-stage system — Pairs with the HD13.52 fairing speakers to form a front-stage system where the coaxials handle mid and bass and the HD13.FHT extends high-frequency response from the gauge position.
Gauge opening fitment only. The HD13.FHT mounts into fairing gauge openings — not speaker cutouts. Confirm your fairing has available gauge positions before ordering. Standard 1998–2013 Road Glide®, Street Glide®, Electra Glide®, and Ultra models typically have unused openings — verify yours before purchasing.
Crossover included. The HD13.FHT includes an inline 12 dB high-pass crossover set at 4 kHz, protecting the tweeter from low-frequency excursion. In a DSP-equipped system, the external crossover can be used and the inline unit bypassed if preferred.

What's Inside
1" aluminium ring diaphragm with integrated horn and phase plug. The HD13.FHT uses a ring diaphragm rather than a conventional dome. This design produces a more uniform wave front and maintains phase coherence across the crossover region. The horn contour focuses high-frequency energy forward — toward the rider — rather than scattering it into the fairing cavity. The result is more usable high-frequency SPL at the riding position for the same input power.
Neodymium alloy magnet. A compact neodymium alloy magnet provides the motor force behind the 105 dB sensitivity rating — significantly more efficient than a ferrite-magnet design of comparable physical size. In a fairing environment where space is constrained and weight matters, the neodymium motor achieves the output of a physically larger driver.
Inline 12 dB high-pass crossover with overload protection. An inline crossover set at 4 kHz rolls off frequencies below the tweeter's operating range, protecting the diaphragm from low-frequency excursion at high power levels. An integrated overload protection circuit provides additional protection against clipping transients in amplified systems.
Plug-n-play T-harness. The included T-harness connects directly to the OEM speaker wiring, allowing the HD13.FHT to receive a signal from the factory speaker output without cutting, splicing, or rewiring. The tweeter connects to the T-harness output alongside the main speaker signal.
