The Alloy Art Strong Arm II Inner Fairing Speaker Support Brackets add extra-wide, extra-deep speaker clearance for 1996 to 2013 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide®, Ultra and Street Glide® batwing fairings. Made from injection-moulded high-impact nylon with structural ribbing, they are lighter and stronger than the factory brackets, and give you room to run larger aftermarket speakers the stock brackets cannot clear. Sold as a pair.
These are fairing support brackets, not speakers. Where the standard replacement bracket focuses on strength, the Strong Arm II adds the clearance a deeper or larger aftermarket driver needs.
Who This Is For
You are upgrading the fairing audio on a 1996 to 2013 batwing bike and your chosen speakers are larger or deeper than the fairing brackets allow. The Strong Arm II gives the extra clearance to fit them, without losing rigidity. It is not an alternative to the Alloy Art SAB-1 so much as a companion to it — either set works on its own, and most builds are best served by fitting both while the fairing is off.

Strong Arm II, SAB-1, or both
These are not an either/or choice. Either set works on its own, and both can be fitted together — which is what we generally recommend, because the fairing only has to come off once and the two sets do different jobs. The Strong Arm II adds the extra width and depth that larger or deeper aftermarket drivers need in order to clear. The SAB-1 is the stronger, lighter direct replacement for the factory brackets, replacing OEM 58478-96 and 58479-96. Why the ribbed nylon design
The brackets use injection-moulded high-impact nylon with a structural ribbing pattern. The ribs add stiffness and distribute load without adding mass, so the part is both lighter and tougher than the factory bracket while carrying a bigger speaker. On the road: the fairing holds a larger, heavier driver steady through vibration, heat and coastal salt without flex or rattle.
