The Wild Boar WBARG KIT.2R is a complete plug-and-play front-stage audio upgrade for the 2015–2023 Harley-Davidson® Road Glide, plus the 2024 Road Glide Ultra, Road Glide Limited and Road Glide 3. It fits the Sharknose fairing on these models and does not fit the redesigned 2024 standard Road Glide (FLTRX), which uses a different fairing and factory system. The kit pairs a WBA 400.2R 2-channel Class-D amplifier with WBC 1654RG 6.5″ speakers purpose-built for the Road Glide fairing. Everything required for installation is included – amplifier, speakers, mounting plate, wiring harness, and both black and chrome speaker grille trims – with no wire cutting required.

What This Is Best For
- FM radio listeners – The WBA 400.2R uses Wild Boar's proprietary R.E.M.I.T. (Reduced Electro Magnetic Interference Technology) to minimise the FM reception degradation that all Class-D motorcycle amplifiers produce. If FM is a regular part of your ride, R.E.M.I.T. is a genuine real-world advantage over standard Class-D designs.
- Clean plug-and-play installation – The kit uses a 100% plug-and-play wiring harness with factory-fit Harley connectors. No wire cutting, no splicing. The amplifier mounts on the supplied plate inside the Road Glide fairing without relocating any factory components.
- Road Glide-specific speaker fit – The WBC 1654RG speakers are designed specifically for Road Glide OEM fairing pods. Both black and chrome grille trims are included for a finished, custom look.
- Expandable system architecture – The kit ships ready to accept a second WBA 400.2R amplifier. A third amplifier can be added using the optional FLTR Side Plate-RM mounting plate, allowing the system to grow to over 1,200 watts without relocating hardware out of the fairing.

Radio Flash – Required Before Installation
A TechnoResearch or Harley-Davidson dealer radio software re-flash is required before installing this system. Factory Harley Infotainment firmware applies EQ curves, dynamic compression, and output limiting designed around stock speakers – these remain active after an amplifier is installed and will significantly reduce the performance of the WBARG KIT.2R. R.E.M.I.T. Technology
All Class-D amplifiers generate electromagnetic interference that reduces FM radio reception – this applies to every brand and every Class-D design. Wild Boar's R.E.M.I.T. (Reduced Electro Magnetic Interference Technology) is a proprietary circuit included in the WBA 400.2R that minimises this interference, delivering better FM performance than standard motorcycle Class-D amplifiers. Adding a second or third amplifier to the system will increase FM interference – this is normal and expected with any multi-amp configuration. For best FM performance, retain the factory external antenna rather than using an in-fairing antenna.
