Street Glide & Ultra Head Units 1998 to 2013

Replacement head units for the 1998–2013 Electra Glide®, Ultra and 2006–2013 Street Glide®, including the SoundStream SG.V2, WHD.SG and WHD.9813. They fit the factory radio opening and add Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Non-amplified bikes are generally straightforward. On Ultra models the rear passenger controls are kept with the correct integration harness, and factory-amplified bikes may need extra bypass or integration parts.

Which bikes does this cover?

The 1998 to 2013 batwing Touring platform: the 2006 to 2013 Street Glide, plus Electra Glide and Ultra models on the same fairing. The Street Glide name applies from 2006.

Do these head units add CarPlay and navigation?

The listed models provide Apple CarPlay and Android Auto through a compatible phone, and selected Reserve models such as the SG.V2 include built-in iGO offline GPS capability. Australian maps are not preloaded and must be obtained separately through the supported map-update service. Confirm the features of the exact head unit.

Is it a clean install?

Non-amplified bikes are straightforward: the platform supports model-specific replacement head units with the correct mounting and harness. A factory-amplified bike may need bypass or integration parts, so identify the audio package first.
