The Rockford Fosgate PMX-HD9813 is a direct replacement digital media receiver for select 1998 – 2013 Harley-Davidson® motorcycles. It brings A2DP and AVRCP Bluetooth wireless streaming, Pandora® control, a USB input with 1.5A charging, an AUX input and a digital AM/FM tuner, behind a 3 inch full colour ultra-bright TFT display with day and night modes. It retains the factory handlebar audio controls, adds 4-volt pre-amp outputs, a 7-band graphic EQ plus PEQ and independent subwoofer level control, and installs plug and play using the factory wiring harness and connectors.
This is the part that brings an older bike up to date without a custom dash. Oversized buttons work with gloves on, the display has day and night modes for the long ride home, and weatherproofing technologies protect it from the elements.
Who This Is For
You ride a 2006 – 2013 Street Glide®, a 1998 – 2013 Road Glide® or a 1998 – 2013 Electra Glide®, the factory radio has had its day, and you want a modern source unit that still works with the handlebar controls you already know. If you would rather buy the receiver as part of a matched system, we also stock the Street Glide source unit, 2-speaker and amp kit and the Road Glide source unit, 4-speaker and amp kit.
What This Is Best For
- Riding with gloves on. Oversized buttons and a 3 inch full colour TFT display with day and night modes are built to be used at speed, not parked.
- Living outdoors. Weatherproofing technologies protect the receiver from the elements, which matters on a bike that sits in the sun and the rain between rides.
- Keeping the controls you have. The receiver retains the factory handlebar audio controls and installs plug and play with the OEM electrical connectors.
- Tuning the system properly. A 7-band graphic EQ plus PEQ, independent subwoofer level control and a selectable HP, LP or AP crossover with 12 or 24 dB per octave slope give you real control over the sound.
- Building out later. 4-volt pre-amp outputs feed an amplifier when you add one, and the receiver is software updatable via USB.

Check what your radio is wired to before ordering
Plug and play installation requires the factory wiring harness and connectors in order to retain functionality. Systems that need rear speaker-line outputs require an additional harness, sold separately. The PMX source unit is not compatible with factory amplified systems, CB, intercom, rear volume controls, rear speakers on 1998 – 2005 Ultra models, or factory equipped satellite radio systems. It is SiriusXM® Ready and needs the SiriusXM SXV300 tuner for that, though SiriusXM is not available in Australia. An antenna is not included. If you are not sure what your bike is fitted with, tell us the model and year and we will check it for you.
