Velocity Speaker Design – Speakers

Velocity Speaker Design for Harley-Davidson® Touring, built for high output: RZ65H 6.5 inch and RZ69H 6x9 horn-loaded coaxials, R65 Neo and R690 SPL mid-woofers, the RZ75H horn tweeter, and OverDrive component and pro-audio kits for the fairing and 5x7 saddlebag lids. They suit riders who want volume and clarity over wind at highway speed.

Plan on an amplifier. On bikes with standard solid saddlebag lids, adding 6x9 inch rear speakers requires either replacement speaker lids or a cut-in lid kit.

FAQ

What makes Velocity speakers different?

They are designed for high-output applications using horn-loaded designs that get high efficiency and projection from the Harley fairing, which suits a rider chasing volume and clarity over wind at speed.

What is an OverDrive kit?

An OverDrive kit combines Velocity drivers into a complete front stage or component set for a specific bike, including fairing kits and 5x7 saddlebag lid kits. See the Velocity horn speakers.

Do Velocity speakers need an amplifier?

They benefit from an amplifier, and Velocity offers RZA amplifiers sized to suit. See the Velocity amplifiers.

Will they fit my bike?

The drivers and kits are model specific, covering Street Glide and Road Glide across generations and 5x7 saddlebag lids. Check the fitment on each product and match it to your fairing.
