Terms & Conditions

This page explains in plain English how buying from Motorcycle Audio Australia works — orders, pricing, fitment, workshop bookings and your rights.

It's a summary. Our full Terms of Service is the agreement that legally applies, and where the two differ, the Terms of Service wins.

Who we are

Motorcycle Audio Australia, ABN 32 619 968 795, based in Kedron, Brisbane. Phone 07 3350 1354, 9am–5pm Monday to Friday.

Using our website

Use it lawfully and respectfully. Don't scrape it, don't try to break it, and don't lift our content for commercial use. You need to be 18 or over to buy.

Products, pricing and availability

  • All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. Shipping is extra.
  • Prices and specifications can change without notice.
  • Images are indicative — finishes vary between production runs.
  • If something is listed at an obviously wrong price, we'll contact you before doing anything. You can pay the corrected price or cancel for a full refund.

Placing an order

Check your delivery address and bike details before you confirm — once an order is packed we can't always catch it. Payment in full is required before dispatch.

We may decline an order if we reasonably believe it's fraudulent or if stock isn't available. If we do, you're refunded in full and promptly.

Pre-orders, back-orders and special orders

These aren't the same thing:

  • Pre-orders and back-orders — things we normally stock that aren't here yet. Cancel any time before it ships, full refund.
  • Special orders — brought in or built specifically for you. Once we've placed it with the supplier we can't cancel it, because we can't return it either. We'll always tell you clearly when something is a special order.

Your rights if something goes wrong

Everything we sell comes with guarantees that can't be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

If a product has a major failure, you choose — refund or replacement. If it's a minor problem, we'll repair it within a reasonable time; if we can't, you can then choose a refund or replacement.

Our workshop services carry a guarantee that the work is done with due care and skill.

These rights aren't limited to a warranty period, and nothing in our terms takes them away.

Returns, refunds and warranty

Fitment

Harley touring platforms change year to year, and getting it wrong is expensive. Check before you buy — we'll do it with you for free.

  • We confirmed fitment in writing and it doesn't fit? That's on us. We'll sort it, freight included.
  • Ordered without checking? It's treated as a change-of-mind return.

Workshop work

If we're fitting your system:

  • Quotes are valid 30 days. If we open the bike up and find something nobody could have known about, we stop and call you before doing any extra chargeable work.
  • Deposits may be needed for special-order parts, and are applied to your final invoice.
  • Parts we remove are protected, labelled and stored safely. They're yours — tell us if you want them back.
  • Please take personal items out of the storage compartments before you drop the bike off.
  • Keep your own comprehensive insurance in place while your bike is with us.
  • We'll call when it's ready. Please collect within 7 days; storage fees may apply after 14, and we'll warn you first.
  • If something isn't right afterwards, bring it back. If it's our work or our hardware, we fix it at no cost.

If someone else installs it

Incorrect installation or wiring can damage a product and may affect its warranty. We're not responsible for damage caused during an install we didn't do. Installing or test-fitting also ends change-of-mind eligibility — though not your rights if the product is genuinely faulty.

Reviews and photos

If you send us a review or photos, we may publish them. You can change your mind — ask and we'll take your content down from anything we control. The same applies to photos we take of your bike; see our Privacy Policy.

Liability

Nothing here limits your Australian Consumer Law rights. Beyond those, and as far as the law allows, our liability is limited to repairing, replacing or refunding the goods, or resupplying the service. We're not liable for indirect losses like lost income or the cost of removing and refitting products we didn't install.

Changes

We update these terms from time to time. The current version is always here, and the terms that apply to your order are the ones in force when you placed it.
