The Cicada Audio CHDJS is a pair of custom saddlebag lid hinges for 2014–2023 Harley-Davidson Touring models – designed as a direct replacement for the OEM lid hinge, with an integrated crossover pocket for housing passive crossovers neatly within the hinge assembly. Sold as pair.
Standard OEM saddlebag lid hinges don't provide any space for a passive crossover, leaving builders to hide the crossover elsewhere in the bag or mount it externally. The CHDJS replaces the factory hinge with a custom unit that includes a built-in crossover pocket – keeping the passive crossover inside the hinge body where it's protected, out of the way, and accessible without removing the lid. The CHDJS is included as a standard component in the Cicada Audio® 14HDLID69, 14CHDLID8, and 14CHDLID8R saddlebag lid kits.

What's Inside the CHDJS
The hinge body is the part that changes. It keeps the form and mounting points of the OEM 2014–2023 lid hinge, and adds a pocket sized to house a passive crossover inside the assembly, where it is protected and out of the way. On the road: the crossover travels inside the hinge body rather than loose in the bag, and it can be reached again without pulling the lid off.
Left and right hinges make up the pair, and it is the same hinge supplied as a standard component in the 14HDLID69, 14CHDLID8 and 14CHDLID8R lid kits. On the road: the hinge goes on where the factory one came off, so the lid keeps opening and closing the way you expect when you are packing the bike.
