The FLX700.4 with full DSP tuning built in.

The Cicada Audio FLX700.4PRO is a 4-channel Class-D amplifier with an integrated 6-channel DSP — delivering 175W × 4 RMS at 2Ω and 350W × 2 RMS bridged at 4Ω, with onboard Bluetooth streaming, USB-C DSP configuration, and two line-level pass-through outputs for downstream amplifier integration. The FLX700.4's output in a single chassis with the tuning that used to require a separate processor.

The standard FLX700.4 is the amplifier. The DSP412PRO is the signal processor that goes upstream of it. The FLX700.4PRO combines both into one chassis — the same compact footprint, the same 175W per channel, with a built-in DSP that handles EQ, time alignment, and crossover control without adding another unit to the install. For builds where a separate processor is the right answer, the DSP412PRO and FLX700.4 remain that solution. For builds where a single tuned amplifier fits the brief, the FLX700.4PRO is the correct choice.

Who This Is For

For riders who want the crossover control and tuning capability of a dedicated DSP without the installation complexity of a two-unit signal chain. The FLX700.4PRO is the step up from the FLX700.4 for builds where onboard DSP tuning is the priority, and the integrated alternative to pairing a FLX700.4 with a separate DSP412PRO when a single chassis solution is preferred.

What This Is Best For

  • 4-channel fairing builds requiring DSP tuning in a single unit — EQ, time alignment, and crossover control without routing signal through a separate processor. The FLX700.4PRO handles the amplification and signal processing from one fairing amp tray position.
  • Builds adding a downstream sub or mid-bass amp — the two line-level pass-through outputs send a DSP-processed signal directly to a mono amplifier like the FLX1600.1 or FLX2500.1, with no Y-splitter or separate processor output required. The sub amp receives the same corrected, tuned signal as the main channels.
  • Multi-way front stage builds on Street Glide or Road Glide — per-channel DSP control covers dedicated tweeter and midrange driver separation, time alignment for the asymmetric fairing position, and EQ to compensate for the acoustic environment.
  • Bluetooth streaming direct to the amplifier — the FLX700.4PRO accepts audio via Bluetooth directly, removing the head unit from the signal chain for Bluetooth source material when the bike's charging system is the only source needed.
  • Clean OEM integration without a line driver — VOX, REM, and DC offset turn-on modes cover all factory Harley head unit configurations, including older platforms where running a clean remote wire is not straightforward.

The Bottom Line

175W × 4 RMS at 2Ω, 6-channel DSP, Bluetooth streaming, and two pass-through outputs — in the same compact chassis as the FLX700.4. One unit for amplification and tuning.

Ready to upgrade? Add to cart above. For the same output without onboard DSP, the FLX700.4 is the standard version. For more per-channel output with onboard DSP, the FLX1400.4PRO delivers 350W × 4 — but requires 4 AWG wiring.

Power Output — What the Numbers Mean

The FLX700.4PRO delivers 120W × 4 at 4Ω and 175W × 4 at 2Ω at 14.4V — 700W total RMS at rated voltage. These figures are identical to the standard FLX700.4. The PRO designation reflects the addition of onboard DSP, not a change in the amplifier stage. For builds running 2Ω pro-audio speakers, the 2Ω figure is the rated operating condition.

Bridged, the amp produces 350W × 2 at 4Ω — the configuration for a two-channel front stage at high per-channel output, or for driving a compact subwoofer from the rear channels. The two line-level pass-through outputs allow a separate mono amp to handle dedicated subwoofer duties from a processed signal, keeping the four main channels free for the full-range stage.

DSP and Crossover Control

The FLX700.4PRO integrates a 6-channel DSP — four channels driving the amplifier outputs and two operating as line-level pass-through for downstream amplifiers. All processing is configured via PC over USB-C using the included cable.

The onboard DSP provides per-channel EQ, time alignment, crossover control, phase, and gain structure — the same tuning parameters available in a dedicated DSP processor, in a chassis that also delivers the amplified output. For builds where the amplifier and processor would otherwise occupy separate positions, the FLX700.4PRO collapses that into a single unit.

Bluetooth audio streaming is integrated — the amplifier accepts audio directly via Bluetooth, removing the requirement for a head unit connection in Bluetooth-source applications.

Input sensitivity runs 0.2V – 12V, covering OEM Harley signal levels and standard RCA output from aftermarket head units without a line driver.

System Integration

The FLX700.4PRO accepts high-level speaker output from the factory Harley Boom! Box radio directly — no additional converter required for 2014–2023 models — or low-level RCA from any aftermarket head unit via Molex® inputs.

Turn-on supports REM, DC offset, and VOX modes. VOX and DC offset are particularly useful for OEM integration on older Harley platforms where running a clean remote wire is not straightforward.

At 50A music-level current draw, the FLX700.4PRO stays within factory Harley charging system capacity on most Touring models. Maximum draw is 80A; a 50A fuse is recommended on the power feed. Speaker outputs use 12 AWG busbar-style connections for solid high-current termination.

The FLX700.4PRO does not require a separate DSP processor — the onboard DSP handles all signal processing. For builds requiring more than 12 output channels or a standalone processor that can be retained when the amplifier is upgraded, a separate DSP412PRO may be the better architecture.

2024+ Platform Notes

For 2023.5 CVO and 2024+ Harley-Davidson Touring models running Skyline OS, the FLX700.4PRO can be integrated as part of an aftermarket audio system when paired with a NAV-TV ZEN-H or ZEN-H Pro. The ZEN-H / ZEN-H Pro handles the Skyline OS signal interface — the FLX700.4PRO then receives the processed output and powers the speakers downstream from it. Without a NAV-TV ZEN-H or ZEN-H Pro, integration with a 2023.5 CVO or 2024+ Harley is not supported. For 2014–2023 models (excluding 2023.5 CVO), the high-level input connects directly to the factory Boom! Box radio.

Fitment

  • Harley-Davidson Street Glide: Batwing fairing — fits standard fairing amp tray.
  • Harley-Davidson Road Glide: Shark nose fairing — fits standard amp tray positions.
