The RR05T is the smallest-format horn tweeter in the Cicada range — a compact, direct-mount unit designed for fairing positions, inner pods, and tight installations where a larger horn would not fit. The V9™ Phase Plug is a Cicada-exclusive dispersion device that improves the coverage pattern of the compact horn — widening the listening angle and smoothing frequency response across the dispersion field. The result is a precise, focused high-frequency stage that produces more usable output at the rider's ear than a conventional dome tweeter in the same mounting position, even from the compact 0.5-inch format.

What's Inside the RR05T
The RR05T uses a 0.5-inch titanium dome in a short horn enclosure. Titanium delivers brightness and extended top-end response with good heat tolerance under sustained operation — well-suited to the thermal demands of motorcycle audio. The V9™ Phase Plug sits in the horn throat ahead of the dome and is a Cicada-exclusive acoustic device: it breaks up the horn's natural narrow directivity pattern and spreads the acoustic field wider and more evenly. The effect is audible — the RR05T's coverage footprint is wider than the nominal horn geometry would suggest.
The neodymium motor keeps the assembly compact and light. The die-cast aluminium basket provides rigidity and thermal stability. Two mounting configurations are included: flush mount (1.75-inch / 38.1mm diameter, 0.85-inch / 21.7mm depth) and surface mount (1.8-inch / 46.1mm diameter, 1.1-inch / 28mm protrusion) — covering both recessed and surface fairing positions. The 7 kHz / 12 dB crossover in a custom-tooled, vented case is included with each tweeter.
