The amplifier wiring kit that puts a Rockford Fosgate amp on a 2014+ Harley without cutting a wire
The Rockford Fosgate RFK-HD14 is the complete installation kit for fitting a Power Marine TM400X4ad or M5-800X4 amplifier to 2014 and newer Harley-Davidson® Touring models. It includes the heat-sink, fairing brackets, T-harness, Y-adaptors, Boom!™ Audio bypass plugs, a DSR1 loop-thru harness and all hardware. It integrates into the factory electrical system with no modification and no cutting – but the factory radio must be flashed.
This is the part that turns a factory radio into the front end of a real amplified system. The T-harness keeps front and rear fader control working, and the Y-adaptors mean you can add lower fairing, saddlebag or Tour-Pak® speakers later without buying another harness.
Who This Is For
You are fitting an aftermarket Rockford Fosgate amplifier to a 2014 or newer Touring bike and you want a plug-and-play loom rather than a spliced one. It pairs with the TMS65 6.5 inch fairing speakers and the 6×9 inch bag lid speakers. For 1998 – 2013 bikes, the RFK-HD9813 wiring kit is the equivalent part.
What This Is Best For
- A no-cut amplifier install. The kit integrates the amplifier into the factory electrical system without modification or cutting.
- Keeping fader control. T-harness integration supports front and rear fader on fader-capable systems, with the Rockford Fosgate 2014+ All Bikes flash.
- Expanding later. Y-adaptors are included for adding lower fairing, saddlebag or Tour-Pak speakers to the same amplifier.
- Proper cable. Full-spec cable meeting or exceeding AWG requirements, in 100% pure crystal oxygen-free copper (PC-OFC).
- Bikes with factory amplifiers. Boom! Audio bypass plugs are included for factory Harman/Kardon® amplified systems.
Two things to confirm before ordering
Your radio must be flashed. This kit will not work until the factory Harley-Davidson radio is flashed with the "Rockford Fosgate 2014+ All Bikes" flash. Fader control depends on it.
This is for aftermarket Rockford Fosgate systems only. It is not for the factory-fitted "Harley-Davidson Audio Powered by Rockford Fosgate" systems – those are a different platform and this kit does not apply. Check the fitment table below before ordering, and if you are unsure which system your bike has, tell us the model and year and we will check it for you.
