HDTSLINKAR or HDFiM — which harness for your build?
The HDTSLINKAR is the right choice for most 2014–2023 Touring builds — particularly bikes running fairing speakers and Tour-Pak® or lid speakers, and any build where Maestro AR integration is planned. It replaces the most harnesses and provides the most complete OEM-integrated signal path.

What's Inside the HDTSLINKAR
The harness connects to the factory radio output and rear speaker connectors using correctly pinned Molex® connectors at both ends — no depinning, no modification required. The "T" design intercepts the factory signal path and makes it available at the harness output while leaving the factory connections active. Removable RCA connectors provide standard amplifier input connection; the built-in 4-position Molex® plug provides direct connection to Cicada Audio® amplifiers without adapters. On the road: fade control, handlebar volume, and factory EQ profiles work exactly as they did before — the factory system doesn't know you've added anything.
Wiring throughout is automotive-grade with braided loom, rated for the temperature cycling, vibration, and moisture exposure of the motorcycle environment. The connector and loom specification is the same throughout — not a mix of OEM-grade and budget wiring. On the road: the harness survives heat soak, road spray, and years of vibration without insulation cracking or connectors backing out.
Why the Factory EQ Matters — and Why Maestro AR Is Recommended
The factory Boom!™ head unit applies significant tonal processing to the audio signal — bass boost, mid-cut, and treble lift — calibrated for the factory speaker positions and efficiency. When you add an aftermarket amplifier and upgraded speakers, those acoustic limitations no longer apply, but the factory EQ is still shaping the signal. The result is boomy, distorted bass and harsh mids at volume that can't be tuned out at the amplifier. The ADS Maestro AR (sold separately) removes this upstream processing so your amplifier receives a flat, neutral signal it can work with correctly. For any serious audio upgrade on a 2014–2023 Touring model, Maestro AR integration is strongly recommended alongside the HDTSLINKAR.
